I noticed that WME has a Facebook group, same as IDW. But I have noticed that IDW is a chat group while we can't chat in the WME group.

My suggestion is that WME should have an official chat of some sort. Could be chat in Facebook, or Skype, or whatever, or it would be good too if WME has chat groups in multiple networks. Us WME members can socialize better with a chat room made exclusively for WME members.

not gonna work i already dislike the fact that i get 99 msg from the idw chat already from fb (note how i use dislike as i still like the chat but it gaves me 99 msg all the time)

For some strange reasons, I can not start a chat for the WME FB group. I think it's due to the size of the group (400+) It is quite chaotic to have 400 users in the same chat, not to mention that chat window is so small, messages would move so fast you can't even catch up or know what anyone is talking about.

I'll think of another solution for a chat. Stay put!

have you tried to go to xat.com its a chatbox site but you can make ur own chatbox and but u have to sign up for it

IRC would make more sense, at least if there's people who dont have facebook can join that, and it eliminates the annoyance of having to turn chat off or whatever if you dont want to get messages/notifications for the group. just saiyan.

IMO, this would be a good thing and a bad thing.



good stuff:

-more socialization
-less forum spam
-easy way of communication with members

bad stuff:

-due to the fact that the forum spammage is lessened, it transforms into chatbox spam. (IT'S ANNOYING, REALLY. you get 99++ messages about something you don't give a damn about)
-some members can't always follow what's going on in the (let's say)ongoing conversation. <this is assuming that they care about what's going on in the convo>
-if there are incidents of flaming, this might add more fuel to an already-ongoing fire.



... and speaking of a chatbox, there was one here in WME 2 or 3 years ago. correct me if I'm wrong.
