Has anyone tried to use banapass on different region?

Because in namco's mt4 website highlite that there is a risk losing your data if you play your card in different region that the card registered.

I did. No 'data loss' per se, but you simply cannot access your data in another region.
I first played MT4 in japan months ago; but when I came back, the data was not transferred.

as long the Arcade system is in International, probably it will work

Japan system data to International system will not work

for example you made a JPN car and tried to play it on SGP, and obviously will not work because the two system's version are way off

another example... you made a car from HKG international cabinet and played back to SGP and it will work because the system of the two countries matched

we have a WME guy from PHL, started his CTR in HKG and now he's playing it on PHL system... check his signature in RUF forums for the evidence =/

It will work and Im the proof... have a couple of cars at HK and now happily driving at Malaysia

International System has the same version... v1.02 and as long even updating it to AUS, MYS and play at SGP it will work flawlessly unless a very small probability to nearly impossible of getting your data screwed unless the server or your cabinet doesn't get the uploaded data

dumb question how come my S30 didn't rank up even though I got undefeated highway dominator, yellow tach, 3dx+ music and finishing story 120 while my JZA80 leveled up to S5 and also unshaded. why is that so?

You sure it's not 1200 chapters? Because at that point, you won't be getting a rank up with just 1 loop anymore, you might need even 5.

Is it possible to battle on two machine using the same bananapassport card. Example, me and a friend want to battle each other but he dont have a card. And in my card, there are two cars. Can we battle using the two cars in the same card?

No. 1 Banapassport can only be used on 1 machine at a time, regardless of the number of cars inside it.

As acefire explained the limitations of the Banapass...

you cannot use the card when:

- logged in one of the cabinet and gonna use it on the next
- logged in Wangan terminal and forgot to log out

if these conditions were met you will see an error that your Banapass is used

its going to be locked for like 20 mins(?)

its like in the online games, when you are logged in then someone logs in your account the account might be suspended or you'll just get disconnected

the error suggest 10-20 mins of duration

however if the supposed user still plays the above said duration... but the safest is when the user logs out then you can use the card again to login or worst probably locked due to decalred lost =/
