empty? nah there was tons of noodles and pork hiding under there lol.

if that bowl of ramen combo costs about 10-15 AUD then it shouldn't be that expensive and even worth it when thats darn tasty, at a ramen shop at our place goes by around that price but gyoza isn't included tho, cheapest ramen was at makati was at 180 plus pesos without 10% service charge so.. nearly at 4-5 AUD but only packing leeks shredded carrots and bits of ground pork (stamina ramen was i'm refering tho)

10 AUD for a bowl of ramen is robbery.

you two can't directly compare prices of stuff from different countries if i told you the prices of most stuff here you'll say its robbery

like for a regular coffee its around $3-4 depending on where you go.

Sad fact: most japanese restaurants are expensive but not all of them

10 AUD worth of ramen was kinda big in my place, but one jap restsurant with beef teppan all you can at nearly 15 AUD is effing worth the trip

If I think cheap, go chinese noodle houses a simple strips of chicken/pork mami costs about 130 PHL pesos on a bigger bowl and can ask for extra soup

Point taken... but the essence of ramen is the taste of the whole stuff even the noodles if priced at 15 AUD will be worth the trip if they fall in line to eat one of those

at PHL cars (especially luxury brands) and tech stuff are priced there is enough of what you call robbery, nonetheless you'll be hearing loli shouting "Capitalism Ho!!!" or I'm effing blaming these customs taxes

Or if you're too much of a cheapskate and/or there's no fancy ramen place nearby there's always the batchoy/mami stall that sells them at 35php at most.

all this talk about ramen is making me crave for some.

Upon looking that pic those were japanese pure red pepper flakes not shichimi (pepper flakes, nori flakes, roasted sesame seeds and other spices totalling to 7)

Get udon. Makes you full quickly.

or the Chinese equivalent... local name was "Lomi" thick seafood stock kinda like egg drop soup but the noodles were kinda salty so...

nonetheless I like soba more.... otherwise leaning more on flat noodles

did they warned you on the spicy level otherwise this creamy stock seems dulling the power of chili flakes

not really, they didn't say much just took my order and that's about it lol. it was sorta spicy but nothing crazy
