@Fighting game topic

In USF4, i currently main Ryu using John Choi's zoner style, and Rolento using Nemo's style. When i'm bored out of USF4, i go to TTT2 maining either Miguel/Eddy or Dragunov/Feng (hao team)

What do you guys think of Tekken 7?

Zangief is good in USF4, Hugo is shit tier though lol, idk about T-Hawk since i rarely use him. But hugo's clap is annoying up close though lol

I'm always drawn to cars that are well-drawn by mangakas and fanartists. XD

@PMCD I use T.Hawk more than the other graps. He's really a tough knuckle.

The problem with grapplers are that if you can't find a way to get it your opponent's grappling range, it's gonna be a bad time for you. Here's a perfect example.

Yeah. Getting close to the opponent and scoring a throw is gonna be tricky with a grappler. I've experienced that with T.Hawk a bunch of times in SSF4. (yes, I haven't played USF4 yet, I was hoping to use Elena)

Elena is pretty good! Watch Infiltration or Justin Wong play, but i'm sticking to Rolento for the new characters. He's pretty much the play style i was looking for.

lol i just wait for ppl or bail them in with my t-hawk, i love it when ppl think they can finish me off but dont see my UC meter on full.........................BAM ultra one & dudes gone

another one i really like is adon, very unpopular & very easy to spam too............i still need to learn to combo right

i switch between KOF & SF i dont really tekken, man holy shit after seeing really good play KOF13, shit feels just like 98 all over again with wall cornering & air juggling

I'm still training on Adon but I did learn a small combo when using him.

People spam Adon's overhead too much, but he's really good. What puts me off him is that he really requires FADC usage which i really lack of. One notable Adon player is Gamerbee.

Ohhh~ Street fighter.

I picked it up recently and completely dropped Tekken in favour of SF.
SF is close to the MT machines but I never seem to be able to get a push
pull battle on MT.

To me SF is more complex a game than Tekken and I like it.
MORE SALT TOO. (I like that SF and DOA3/5 are kind of polar opposites.)

I'm learning Juri, my inputs are terrible.
Ultra/Super 1 in 5 tries. Fireball 1 in 2 tries.


I never liked Tekken. Played for 2 weeks and haven't touched it since.

Ultra moves you just need all of the three buttons of punches or kick along with a certain movement, usually half circle foward twice then all punches on some characters

Actually try play the classics like SSF2T to feel the usual tactics and simple motions, kinda hating DOA series because reminding Virtua Fighter with easy counter attacks but the choices of players used are all grapplers


I play tekken tag during lunch break just casual lolz the usual players there thinking I'm that pro

Heck other than MVC2 or SF Alpha 3 are the other choices after tekken tag =_=;

DOA very heavily stresses counter. They made countering more difficult in DOA5 though.
I feel as if DOA is a true really fast rock/paper/scissors game.


I also feel as if more people should get into competitive tetris. It 'is' a fighting game you know .


Maybe I should climb some League ranked ladders.

In the Tom's World SM Makati Foodcourt basement, there are a lot of skilled players playing MVC2, and they're very scary at it.

Ackk.. I tried climbing league ranked ladders but I'm just falling atm.
The Bronze/Cardboard 4 swarm is too stronk. I can't carry hard enough.

Curse entering ranked prelims from a cardboard-chine!!

the climb outta bronze is the most painful thing ever
if you're better than the people you're playing with then try duo que with a higher ranked player.

The only reason I play DOA5U is because my waifu's in the game.

Try playing during late hours in your timezone. That's when the skilled players come in.

If you might see staples of Psylocke, Iceman, Storm, Magneto and even Iron Man with spammage of Assists of Dr. Doom or Cable its gonna be a bloody fight indeed

Here in Otis they even have those brutal teams like Iron Man & BB Hood with random 3rd char

Don't worry about League OCE server, it is scum.
Hence I only play serious casuals blind norms. (In OCE, I only see only getting worse since I've OCE server arrived in S3)
