I'm not too crazy about it either, to be honest. But heck, it's another car.

seeing how the guys doing these model capture....and people whining not all still premium...take a look how many hours it took to do 1 car....and i didn't realise that Andretti-san was THAT small....small stature of a man with big achievements of a lifetime...

I wonder if the Hornet can be driven off road just like what it did in the dirt oval at Indianopolis.

So I think we uber failed on the WME room.

Otherwise, the BR-Z GT300 car is a waste...only 440hp :/ The RX-7 and Garaiya GT300 cars both have 700+hp. So I was a little disappointed about that.

I have most JGTC/Super GT premium cars, just working on one or two more.

Is the McLaren F1 Race Car and good? I want it but haven't jumped on it yet.

Also what does the Mclaren F1 Race car and street car make for power anyways? Kinda like them a little bit I guess.

And what McLaren F1 you speak of? The BMW F1? The F1 GTR? Both models are Le Mans winners, they should be good cars, particularly the BMW F1.

Well, power wise the F1GTR (Ueno & Base model) by numbers are weaker than the standard F1 94', the GTR longtail of BMW included (620 vs 680hp base) but the earlier has the race spec gearbox so gear changing on stock is far better than the F1 94', not to mention better aerodynamics and base suspension settings.

I think its top speed's par to each other or maybe the F1 94' has it higher due to a more expanded gearbox.

I might get GT6 earlier, given a mate wants the catalogue for me (he told me he's fond of those collector's edition freebies) ; so we're splitting the bill, haha!

yes I was referring to the models in McLaren's dealership, I really want the Ueno Clinic car. I'm not a supercar guy, but I have a thing for the F1 and MP4-12C.

Any difference with the GT/Super GT/Race cars and their base model counterparts or is the difference only the base model has no livery?

HS earlier stated that the BRZ GT300 had limited horsepower compared to it's other GT300 opponents like the RE Amemiya GT300 etc, but I expect zero performance changes for the base models, it should be the same.

BTW, if you're going to give away the Anniversary Edition goodies, will you also be giving away the car code that also includes 1 million credits?

I have both the Ueno racecar and the normal F1. Both handle great, though the regular F1 is surprisingly better at long straightline runs. Both have their normal parts...no aftermarket stuff bought. The Ueno F1 reached 182 (no redline) on the long Nurburgring straight, while the roadgoing F1 reached 200 pretty easily.

If you take the normal F1 on to a rainy track, you're gonna have a bad time. Even with aids on, it will still try to fishtail.

In the end, you really wouldn't go wrong with either.

Is the credit glitch still working? I finally decided to give it a go. Considering this is a glitch focusing on V. 1.00 and not V. 1.01, it should be rendered inescapable for PD unless they take drastic measures with their ninja updates.

Should still work. Make sure you get the Benz before you downgrade to 1.00.

Once you get your first 20 million, you should upgrade to 1.01 and buy 20 of the Benz's, then downgrade again and buy cars and sell Benz's as needed.

Given my mate just wants the Disc binder and the catalogue, and has no PS3 of his own, I'll use it for myself. Note - I'll make another PSN account (since this is an Asian disc I'm getting; maybe a shortened name of my Aussie PSN)

I'll be sure to keep that glitch in mind too for easy material gathering like Normalaastra mentioned in another site.

But isn't Patch 1.00 have a credit limit of 20 million compared to 1.01 with an extended credit limit? If I buy more VGT's and repeat again, would I get 20 million yet again?

Just so you know, an event like this once happened in NFSW. Three cars had a glitched price of zero SpeedBoost (real life funds), and it can be bought endlessly. Doing like what you did and buy it again and sell it again is actual abuse.

It was fixed and the developers made a blog post that users who had tried the glitch are free from getting banned and can keep the cars and the money earned from selling, but repeat abuse does result in a ban. Maybe I can do it a second time and let go of the glitch in GT6.

Yes, 1.00 does have the limit. But, if you try to sell the car in 1.01 it won't work. If you buy more VGTs in 1.01 with the 20 million from the first one, it will work.

So, this is what you should do.

1. On 1.01, either claim/buy the VGT.
2. Exit out of the game after it has saved.
3. Uninstall the 1.01 patch. Sign out of PSN too.
4. Start the game. Don't sign into PSN or install 1.01.
5. On 1.00, sell the VGT and get your cash.
6. Install 1.01 again.
7. With your 20 million, buy 20 VGTs at 1 million each.
8. Repeat steps 2-5.
9. Buy cars, and sell your VGTs as needed. You'll still get 20 million.

I finally did it, but due to unfortunate timing, the newest patch came. 1.02.

do i really have to set traction control to 0 for every single goddamn event i do? ughhhh

oh yeah new patch ... i somehow have seasonal events unlocked, won a M4 & 100k easily enough (after like 5 retries mid-race).

and the "how far can you drive with 1L of petrol" challenge was a bit ... odd

My evening has consisted of trying to win the IA kart championship.

125 Shifter Kart + GT Arena = VERY bad time

The Shifter Kart challenge is a difficult one, but I cleared it after a third try. I can't get used to that kart but I can drive around the arena in record time.

PS: The M4 can be sold as well to earn another 20 million in 1.00 from 1.01. Did all my purchases offline there. However the loss of data meant the loss of replays and photos. Salvaging files can't recover it unfortunately. Maybe the AE code affected it mostly. Had amazing replays with my Z31 including the bugged Mira that is now fixed in the new patch. Color chips obtained from 1.00 are not carried over to 1.02. Well there went the Historic Racing Orange color from the McLaren F1.

At least I got Papaya Orange already for the F1 GTR Base Model.

Anyways the cars retained and the money too. So I'm set.

Also the new credit giveout rate is like the credit glitch all over again. Except it's legal.

I don't think these karts were even meant for the GT Arena. Instead of GT Arena as the final race, they should have done the Silverstone Stowe Circuit.

I eventually won the championship (finished 3rd in the last race), then went back to get that last star. It wasn't as bad then because every time I messed up I could just restart that race, instead of having to restart the whole championship.

Now, another thing that's a PITA is the Hudson Challenge. It's pretty hard to get the gold IMO, but if you're just doing it to get the car (bronze or better), it's easy.

Yeah I barely won that last race of the shifter karts first try, that championship was fun, very challenging.

We should really organize a date and time in advance for a WME Room. WRX22B! When are you available these coming few days?

Also, looks like the fixed the Mira (Good thing I didn't buy one) and supposedly fixed the MR cars, even though I didn't think they were 'broken' but everyone else b*tched.

Also, anyone noticed the cars are slower on SSR7 then Route X, I guess I don't drive those track enough but my RX7 wouldn't go over 240mph on 7 but on X I can hit 265mph. It's like the cars are limited for some reason. Just seeing if it's just me.
