I can't run the Nurburgring even if my life depended on it, doesn't matter what car I use, I can never do a full clean lap without flying off the track at least once, or going into the grass.

^But were you able to clear the final Mission Race? It has that. And cones to stop you from cutting the grass that becomes possible to cut into.

Sweet, another WME meet benefitting the other side of the world for once. I can make it!

I don't....remember...I do remember having to do a race on it though......

On second thought, I don't think I've done any of the missions.

So I had a go at GT6 outside a comic shop on Tuesday. Tried out a BRZ which was slightly upgraded, and a Swift Sport.

Played with a bit of career mode and won a Renault Clio RS '11 and a Lancia Delta HF Integrale.

I'll have a small write up regarding NA1 NSXs and the older Evo 1-6s soon, I've been building alot of cars.

Also not, the R30, R31 and 240RS will never ever handle good. I can not explain it, but they are 7-9 seconds slower then my also 550pp Spirit R around Bathurst.

Anyone else notice the 240RS literally is the quality of a premium car without an interior? Why you so lazy PD. Damn you.

Lol PD now you turn off the servers without notice?

So I did the 24 minutes of leMans with just the McLaren F1 LM / GTR Base Model
It only takes 3 laps and they merit you 300k; 600k with the 200% online bonus

Also, I totally miscalculated my assumptions on the race.

It rained continuously from lap 1.5 to lap 2.5 and i was on racing hard tires.
Did some accel work for a change and despite everyone pitting in at lap 2 except me because of the weather I still won with a minute's worth of a gap after the third lap.

I pitted in at lap 2 to sprint my way to victory given the McLaren in the Nurburgring are a perfect couple.

Had a short duel too with the FINA McLaren at sections 1-3 when it passed me after my pitstop. Saved the replay - tons of spinouts but I might do a story about it.

Oh and just found out PD confirmed a release date for the continuation of the Red Bull X Challenge, which is the end of January. They also acknowledged the misinformation that said it was going to be released on January 1.
And going with that, they also mentioned the continuation releases in a new patch, so expect one soon.

The S-license final mission's both fun and irritating.

It's not hard by any means but aiming to have a no-off-course race (which is permitted btw - yes you can go off track), it's hard to do it after the big dup of Nurburgring with the GT40. It wasily loses traction at the hillclimb not adding the stress the Ford GT is adding from behind.

I would've shaved 5 seconds off my past record a 7:40 but I HAD to mess up that latter section. Only got a 7"39"XXX I wanted that 7"35"XX

I had some fun online sessions where I almost defeated an Alfa Romeo MiTo with a Prius on Eiger Norwand K Trail - Reverse, but the Prius couldn't climb up the hill.

We need more crazy sessions like this in the TW/HK servers.

IT MATCHES SO PERFECTLY

I hate how some cars suffer the skinny tire syndrome.

Really PD, my 500pp RX-7 is a few seconds faster then the 550pp R30, R31 and 240RS. Why? I just don't get it. They aren't THAT bad of cars in comparison IRL, the R31 esp. was a great race chassis in Group A.

Also, anyone going for trophies in GT6? I can help with that really hard to find 'blue tires stack' that you need to hit

Found it by accident.

lol i had the MT2 select BGM as menu music.

then it got super annoying after it re-looped every time i exited or entered a different menu so i got rid of it.

That's the only thing you put in the file? No wonder it got annoying.

When I put MT music, the pre-race music can even be songs you use in races, because of it's build-up part. Some that match the best include so many hit songs, to be quite frank some don't fit the pre-race menu but plenty hit it at the right note. I'm reviewing which ones will work best right now by going through my MT playlist.

One that is perfect is Get Your Engine Going.

Anyone know the most preferred LMP1 Prototype to use in the 24 minutes of LeMans?

I tried doing it with a GT1 Hypercar (GT-One, CLK GTR, R390, F1 GTR BMW) but that Pescaloro, XJ9R, R92CP and Sauber C9 are killing my chances.

I've done it in the GT-One, Sauber C9 and the slowest the 787B.

Just takes some precision I guess, also I'm on a G27.

Just cleared it with the CLK GTR.

I was gonna take advantage of the 1.03 bug but I exactly finished it within 24 minutes. Spun out twice on the 2nd to the last lap but I still managed to get my last second pass.

It was intense, and the Pescarolo was totally OP; far from my CLK's league.

So I made my return to the comic shop yesterday. Found out that someone bought a Yellow R34! Tried it out and my reaction stunned me. It's so skiddy!

I had to bring that thing to Matterhorn Rotenbergen and it was so darn difficult to keep up with that many corners! Eventually I got first in that event....... Think it was in International A or something.

Matterhorn Rotenboden is the only touge track in this game so far, unless you count Mt. Panorama's mountain section as touge. Seriously, Dem corners. Dat high risk circuit.

If you drive a touge car there you will enjoy the best drive of your life at Rotenboden.

RR3 makes Mount Panorama look so easy......... It isn't in GT6! Tried out a night race there with a Renault Clio RS that day...... So difficult!

I thought we already have a premium C5 Z06 in GT5?

The standard Z06 was a port from GT4. There was both a standard and premium model in GT5, as well as in GT6. The standard version is there just to pad the car count pretty much.
