Apparently in this episode, Ryosuke discloses that the goal of Project D was to control the rice trade, Fumihiro talks about penetrating something, Takumi is warned not to get a kidney transplant, and either Kenji or Iketani are trolling people on the internet. At least that's what the translations told me. SPOILER watch the Youtube version with closed captions on, with translation to English, it's hilarious!

Yeah, I'm not much of a reader (not just manga, but books in general). Reason why is because it strains my eyes alot; I was born with a condition that won't let me move my eyes left or right.

I'm getting some reading glasses soon though.

quality wasnt as bad as evryone was making it sound. is episode 2 around yet? nothing rrwally happened in that first one haha

Is it just me that finds the overcolored art style in Fifth Stage quite weird? I kind of liked the style of Fourth Stage more, and the character's don't really look that good...S5 Ryosuke doesn't look like S1-S4 Ryosuke at all.

And if you followed the manga; the new hairstyle was based on the manga Ryosuke as well. As for the coloring; at least it breathes more life to the series; than something so utterly gloomy. It's a mix of both 2nd stage colour with 4th stage CGI & design.

Yeah, the manga Ryosuke did look like this one, didn't expect the hair color though. The cars looked particularly better in this one thanks to the higher contrast so it's become more eye candy.

Anyone having issues playing MKV files?

I have VLC player and it won't work at all. Audio is fine, but all I get is a green screen.

It's bugged. A lot saw it. IDW's youtube, go2id has it with the REAL translated CC subs; not the regular YT sub where it says that Iketani's the prime minister of the internet, Ryosuke cares about the American stock market and that the one-hand steer technique requires you to give something to your daughter or some other thing in the line.

i wanna see if Ryosuke's FC is still the way it looks from 4th Stage, or if it got modified like how Keisukie's FD was ( with that new body kit I've seen in the manga & in the intro for 5th Stage )
i think the FC looks BADASS with its newer modifications!
i cant wait to see Ryosuke race FINALLY after so long as well! getting hyped up more & more.

And just watched Ep2, and I can tell that the RE Amemiya Aero is not just for show. It has the most fundamental & aerodynamic body parts that is both decent and not an attention whore. SO we may conclude that Keisuke's FD is more like the Blitzkrieg type - when he chooses to lead = GG.

Yup, I call it pop-pop cause it sounds like the tiny firecracker kids throw on the ground

And Keisuke's Amemiya kit is the Super G, if I'm not mistaken, that thing has brought Ama-san's FDs to glory. The first Amemiya touge monster on Hot Version was equipped with a Super G, and the 20B equipped track monster FD had a special version of the Super G. That car does not joke around, definitely /ff and GG on that car.

But the Emperor G and the other one that gave it the 911 headlights/Emperor G-II; not sure with the performance but the Emperor G was decent and for some reason, I dislike the 3rd one with the 911 lamps :V

I think the Emperor G was the one used for the Hurricane Amemiya at WTAC, but yeah, I don't dig the one with the 911 lamps too, both on the street version and on Masao's FD.

AND the Hurricane Amemiya; green with the Asparada Drink vinyl FD E-G was also featured as the official RE Amemiya of Kaido battle, methinks.
