its because you directly attached it from the forum which you're logged into (revscene or whatever) and we're not.

just put it on tinypic or imgur or something lol.

rooting is for android like what jailbreak is for iPhone. basically it enables root access so that you can uninstall unwanted bloatware (like some apps samsung and other brands bundle in eg ChatON) you can install an ad-blocker and run some other stuff which you wouldn't be able to without root access.

Other than ignorantly running / executing scripts.

Some says rooting will make your phone prone to viruses, and in order to avoid that you need to change something (like administrator thing, i forgot) via some terminal app.

My phone is a GT-i9500 Galaxy S4. Stock, never bothered to root it because of that knox shit lol, maybe someday.
It's running on kitkat. Lags, force closes are everywhere, and the battery won't even lasts more than 6-7 hours on heavy use lol. Bearable though

last night i updated to monthly snapshot M8 of CM11 (4.4.4 kitkat) for my S3

no real issues apart from all the google apps repeatedly crashing until i realised i hadn't installed the newer version of google apps zip inside cwm. did that and rebooted, still had drive crashing so uninstalled and reinstalled through play, same deal for youtube.

all good so far, the main noticeable thing is the ui looks a little different AND it opens apps and stuff super quick, before there used to be like a 2 or 3 second delay between switching apps (like 2 seconds before it started to switch) now its much smoother.

i had some issue downloading it from the cyanogenmod website though (the download failed at 80%) but thats just my internet being shit. so i found a torrent of it and yeah.

here's the specs anyway...

quad core 1.6ghz, 1.5gb ram, 8gb storage + microsd , 720p screen is not top notch (same in my s3) but still quite good. kitkat and 13mp camera.

pretty decent. how much did it set you back?

$30/month for 20 months.

Rocking an iPhone 4S, still going strong but I need more damn space on it with only 16GB on my current phone.

Can't complain except for battery life :lol:

my last iphone was the 3gs & that was on ios4 i think, which is hella long ago (my 1st one was a 2g)

not sure if i really need it, i dont like the ios as it lacks alot, only want it cuz of iphone apps

it all boils down to phone specs and how much we can shell out this thing :rolleyes:

darn those korean phones especially Pantech... quite getting famous in the USA but their korean ones are eye catching and kinda tempted to get one

then again i'm still happy on my AT&T Galaxy note 1 with extended battery

I have no problems besides space and my battery life (I manage it pretty poor so I can only blame myself)

I want to upgrade but I prefer my phone size compared to 5 or 5S.

will be getting a one plus soon (hopefully if the price is as good as he said it will be), then im gonna flip it when i get back to north america

Fuuuu, this battery/google play services bug is seriously pissing me off. Would cyanogenmod fix this?

maybe i can't say for sure, but it'll probably speed stuff up anyway i think it's worth the switch.
