QUOTE (TheTwinturboman @ Yesterday, 1:49 PM) | So, 2017 has been over. What are y’all’s game of the year for 2017? Mine is easily Yakuza 0 hands down. I know, who saw it coming right? Lol Nioh would be my runner up. Amazing game. Would’ve love to have maxi tunes 5 near me, but what can a man do? |
My 2017 game of the year, hands down its NieR: Automata (yeah, its a majority vote, TBH I only did played a few hours, but this game was way beyond my expection). Now comes to the worst part (also my favorite): Worst Game(s) of the Year. Mine is CoD: World War II, not just because its another same old shitty Call of Duty game, but its had gone worse, worse and worse. Its basically f***ed up from the get go. Oh, and I had a few dishonorable mentions too, like Destiny 2, SW Battlefront 2 (due to microtrans. controversies, which also hit other games), and a few couple more. Looking forward to 2018, I have super low expectation for the 2018 games releases. @mprasetya I freaking hate Jake Paul (or basically the bullying family of the Pauls) This post has been edited by JaredTHESakuraKnight on Jan 15 2018, 06:45 PM

Speaking about Toyota pulling out their cars from racing games (FM7, NFS Payback, Asphalt 8 and a couple more), I did found a few resources about it: Toyota Exec: Realistic Video Games Make Cars UnnecessaryHere's Why Toyota Is Taking Their Production Cars Out Of Video GamesWhat Toyota is Thinking... It's almost exactly what you are thinking...The alleged reason that Toyota pulls its production cars from this generation of racing gamesPersonally, I found all those reasons that Toyota provided was just ridiculous. The reality is the real issue was lied on the Toyota themselves, such as the top executives are not willing to look at the bigger pictures of all the problems they're facing (unreliable cars, declined sales...), instead they used the racing games as their punching bag of all those problems. I found a couple of reasons which I found ridiculous that Toyota not to feature their cars on the games. Number 1, lets take Mitsubishi for example, even though Mitsu is no longer producing the sports cars like the Evos, they still at least willing to providing license featuring their sports cars to the game developers. So I don't find any good reason that Toyota not to feature their sports cars on the game (AE86, Supra, Celica...you name'em). Number 2, I'll be using Honda for this scenario. Honda did limited their cars to be featured ONLY in the track-focused racing games during the 2000s, but they did reversed their initial decision that have also been featured in street racing games a few years ago. And to be honest, for those who once or still playing Asphalt 8, Toyota cars are no longer available for purchase in-game. Personally, I feel that today's Toyota has done way worse than Honda in that time. So I had the bad feeling that more and more Toyota will be mercilessly removed from the racing games thanks to their top exec. What the f*****g d*** moves. For those reasons, I hope that Toyota will keep losing sales and money for all those stupid decisions they had done. Basically what I hope is that Toyota will keep going downhill so that Nissan and Honda will catch up will Toyota and pass it! Toyota, keep doing the same old s*** and the karma will come to you!
