QUOTE (Saint @ Today, 7:06 PM) | So it's fixed now? That's weird cos it said 'Installed RAM'. If physical insertion was the problem, it should be reflected in 'Installed RAM'.

This is a very special day to me. It's still May 5th at the time I'm posting this. Allow me to explain. It all started ten years ago. Ten years ago, I made my first leap into the world of the forum board. I'd never been on a forum board before then, so this was really special. The site I joined in question was a Mario Kart Wii website, the brand new Mario Kart game at the time. In fact, the site's web address was literally MarioKartWii. (Disclaimer: Don't actually type in the website onto your browser. The website's been brought down hard. Shits f**ked. I repeat. DON'T type it in.) My screenname most vets of that site would remember me as driftking1, and later DRIFT KING. Real original names, I know. So original, I was often confused for many other people who also had drift king as their username. I may of made some cringeworthy posts during my times at that place during 08-09. I still had a pretty good reputation for the most part, and I had a lot of friends. This website was golden. I remember a lot of things. i remember my introduction thread, all the clan battles I had and the clans I was in, the forum games, exchanging wii friend codes for Mario Kart Wii aswell as for Animal Crossing, the forum games, getting sick avatar and signature designs from members on the website, a member sadly passing away due to a drunk driver, and even becoming a VIP at the website which granted an extra VIP forum to use. I wanted to return to this world, this website. I did in 2016, thankfully I used the easiest password ever to remember. I paid my respects, said hello again to all the 5 people that were on the website in 2016, but then tragedy happened. The disclaimer form earlier? The site was officially killed, and is now a torrent website. I think that part of my motivation of coming onto WME was myself being a sort of refugee of that old forum. I just miss the old forum boards. I'll end it here. Might post more info about my adventures on GAB and Twitter, or maybe I won't. Who knows. I just want to talk to my old friends again to see what the hell they're up to lol. Man this almost made me teary lmao.

Good to feel nostalgic and sentimental, dude. Makes me miss the young me back in 2008-10 and the times back then here. Things were simple and fun then. I gotta go outside more since I've been going outside less for the past year and half. And I thought it would do me good and yes I was content but damn, I miss going outside. @gaming, so many psn sale last week ended up getting too many games and not playing them lel Let's see; > Ends up playing Skyrim and ESO instead. Been doing pixel art on and off. Wish theres a BloodBourne 2. DS3 feels plastic-y. the ost though.

I need a new phone, really tired of my super reliable iPhone 6 and want a android again (I was duel welding an iPhone 6 and s7 in till I lost it my s7)
God I kinda forgot what it feels like to root and boot ram on to phone, same goes for jailbreaking |
I thought it had story mode, nope just arcade version on PS4.. rippp Nah coz i remember timezone at town hall had KOF 99/2000 cab and i was like damn this is good.
I remember when I was 7 i had KoF 97/98 on ps1, ah the time going to flea market to get those ps1 games for like $5 or something.
meanwhile I'm still using a cheap lenovo tab3 7" tablet (Android 5.0.1) and not even bothering to get a proper mid tier or high end smart phone coz i just use my cheapo phone as a hotspot, thats all its good for.
Phones get rotated out so fast nowadays.

QUOTE (Kenzz @ 1 hour, 43 minutes ago) | Plot wise I don't wanna get Yak6 coz I haven't played 2~5 since I finished 1 on ps2 ages ago.
Feels bad in an OCD type of way. Then again, here i am playing Kiwami and not 0. Ugh.
How does the engine and physics feel for Yak6 compared to Kiwami 1? I haven't bothered youtubing it.
Makes me think they're remaking 3 4 5 probably in the future. |
I played 6 exactly because I have this OCD of playing everything lol. I played 0 and then 2. I skipped 1 because I knew Kiwami was coming up (no difference storywise anyway). Wanted to wait for Kiwami 2 but that's still a very long way to go so I went ahead with 2.
Opinions were varied about the gameplay. For me, 6 sucks because I got used to playing 0 and Kiwami with four different fighting styles. 6 has only Dragon of Dojima stance. It'd be fine if there're plenty of moves to compensate but it's also limited. So fighting is pretty meh.
No coliseum fights and no casino in 6 so it's also a letdown. Not even bowling, but I don't miss it lol. Puyo Puyo minigame is complete b*tch to fight Rulue and Witch where you have to win over 20 matches straight to encounter them. The spearfishing game is shit too. Max level is too much grinding to complete.
On the plus side, you can walk into stores without loading screen. You can also wreck shops too.
Anyway you won't miss much if you play 6 like I did. Maybe a little spoiler here and there but the game is mostly about doing anything else than progressing the story. :v I don't mind those spoilers, though. There're also notes in the game menu for you to keep up with the story from 1-5. I read them, but I didn't care and probably forget about them by the time I play 3-5.
Storywise, most players don't like Haruka's circumstances (I agree with them), but the conspiracies (it's a staple in every Yakuza game lol) are pretty good. The whole game focused on Kiryu without everyone else so it's pretty bland for my taste. I would've loved to at least fight Majima for the last time in this game. So overall, I'd say average. The ending could've been waaaaaaaay sadder but it didn't turn out the way I hoped. But still, beautiful ending.
