They're all glass noodles, aka vermicelli.

- Mung bean/ Green bean noodles
- Sweet potato starch noodles
- Potato vermicelli noodles

These are all glass noodles.




Also can you guys stop flaming me for a goddamn difference in opinion?!
Farking hell. //Also, get your butts out and try some proper variety of dishes
from proper ethnic origins. Instant noodles isn't the way to go about it.

(Nothing wrong with enjoying certain instant noodle flavours just because you like it though.)

are those like the same ones used in Phở?

The ones that can be made inside a cup. Supposedly they are even more practical than cup instant noodles, but various accounts say they taste like crap.

Shanghai noodles are very similar in texture to Yakisoba.
Yakisoba is generally sweeter while Shanghai noodles are more savoury.
I think Yakisoba noodles contain egg in the noodle dough while shanghai noodles don't.
(Wait... No.. Hokkien noodles have egg. Soba and shanghai noodles have no egg.. It's similar too, BAHHHH.)
Instant soba noodles are not true soba and are made from tapioca starch. Usually has an acid added to it to preserve it, personally I find it tastes bad.

It appears I have been mistaken. You were referring to transparent noodles, instead of noodles that are capable of being served in cups/glasses.

They do serve transparent noodles in cups! They're not nice though :/ .
I don't see much point in instant vermicelli noodles~ Normally they're done

Breasts are alright IMO, they need to be cooked differently to thighs though to retain their moisture.
I think thighs are better for the asian method of marinating and then roasting for longer periods of
time. Or boiling~ Breasts are terrible for boiling.

well its been a good run & i thought it would be a little longer but 6 years is.quite some time, not out but just gonna slowly fade out (i.dont even id so im rarely on the sister site)
