http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slippery_slope we learnt about this in yr10 wink2.gif

well i mean there is still all the mt4 cars to do dressup with laugh.gif

and they added taikan so even if there wasn't new cars i'd be happy.

what's your solution? whinge and win? it might work with your parents but it's not gonna work for a big video game company

It worked with Dynasty Warriors. When 6 came out it was utterly reviled and had so much fan backlash, Koei practically removed every single new feature introduced in it. Of course WMMT5 is no bad game, it simply didn't live up to expectations.

DW8 is sweet though. Best game in the series.

yes we want that.

R35 - can't dress up / can't custom colors.

Germans - can't dress up but can get custom colors.

Hey, better than nothing; that and the physics rework. And this ain't NFSU.

complain if they remove sh** - especially if they removed cars off the roster, then whine away.

10-outrun barely phased everyone and it's just easy rank ups and title farming; nothing noteworthy about it other than added mileage.

Online Ghost Battle gives you an expanded list of players to race against as you're not confined to just people who play in [insert arcade name / branch here]. How is that a bad thing?

@N643, you forgot to add the introduction of Japan Challenge (allowing us to VS JP server players' ghost data)

jp.challenge was.part of ghost, they could have made.it available to us already without making it separate

WOW almost blue skies here im.china

Now that exams are over.......

Time to deliver on my previous claim of writing a multichapter story. I'm pretty sure some other members namely Gunma and Kenzz have their own, when they deliver, i hope it will be an interesting read.

QUOTE (Deskyx @ Dec 5 2014, 07:17 PM)
Aren't 2JZs built from 80s tech as well? Eric Hsu of XS engineering said that any point of using the 2JZ is nulled by the presence of the LS1.

I'm speaking from an armchair enthusiast perspective, naturally someone with on-hand experience would be far more knowledgeable.

I know this is already way behind but I Just noticed you brought this little gem up and I felt it had to be addressed. Let me preface this by saying I know Eric and XS. I will be dropping by to chat with him next time I'm in the area because we have some things we need to talk about. Comparing the RB and the 2J to the 2J and the LS1 is apples to oranges. The 2J's set up is like the RB but more refined. The LS is utterly alien by comparison and gets its power in a very different way from both of those. I know getting experience with cars is probably more difficult for some of you but this is how fallacies about cars get started- by stuff that's taken out of context and then someone who doesn't actually know or hasn't worked on the engine will say something and insist it's fact.

BTW I am also curious to read these multi chapter stories. I might just send one of my many many ties to the person whose story I enjoy the most. I'm over-encumbered with neckties and I've been trying to set up a MT challenge worthy of giving them away.

there's one thing i forgot: there's damage (not sure if its visible) that you have to pay to fix after every race. and you get damaged if the ai hit you as well -.-

oh and the used part shop...stuff can break if you buy it from there, i bought a sports exhaust for 1000 and it broke during the next race, smoke pouring out of my car. i still won though smile.gif i won some old jag which i sold for 20k (tried driving it but it had no grip and wasn't very fast either), won a few more races and got a wrx ver6

-snip

I'd love to see an opinion from XS Engineering's Eric Hsu..Regarding to how the 2J is from 80's tech, not necessarily incorrect or correct...

I'll try to short things up..

>M series engine is the most prominent of during 60's to late 80's..
>JZ series emerged from the late 80's and becomes the staple engine choice for most Toyota's flagship cars
>JZ vs RB(basicly in response to Nissan's success in their racing program)

But,when we look back at most of the Toyota's sports racers...They use the 3S-GTM(on the prototype racers) and the GTE's on the JGTC supra's...

Anyways how do you peeps feeling today?

I feel good~

What mods are you running, as a person who used a cracked version on an old laptop playing Minecraft was fun but still wouldve been awesome with more people, only in a server with 3 people at the most.

ah i played regular version (no mods) a little bit on both PC and PS3. it's quite a fun game if you have friends who will play with you and you can all work together to build a house and find resources n stuff.

then you get the ones (like one friend i was playing with) who just does annoying shit like putting lava on the roof of the house dry.gif
