Sanwa is what they normally use in japanese arcades but the issue is with the sanwa buttons is that the overall response to the button presses isn't as good as something like a HAPP( which is what I am using now).

Same concept as a mechanical keyboard vs membrane. Competitive wise, membranes are faster but mechanical feels better.

Eh, I Just wanna make an arcade stick just to feel like I've accomplished something for once.

Well, my SF4 TE fightstick from madcats was from a high school friend who's actually from the shadowloo or whatever its called. Never knew him personally, but he sold it to me (it was his at the time) for $70, I'm pretty sure those stick goes around $140+ anyways. But hori and other brands tend to be a bit pricier.

Ah thats right, if I ever see eb selling those shitty 3rd party ps3/360 controllers, its possible to rewire/solder and hack/map it to become an arcade stick as well...

I've seen old controllers modified to USB (on ebay) but wow, I thought EVO and all those big fighting game events only needed an actual arcade stick,

I'll stick to the usual home-console controller stuff. And yet I'm probably having fun with SSF4 on my PC, despite I'm limited to using the keyboard..

Good thing about SSF4/SF4AE/USF4 is that u can mod it to make cahracters look different and custom skins on PC.

Yeah. I've seen some nice outfit mods. But modding SSF4 is really different, I was usually modding racing games most of the time.

I assume you're referring to the guy that won in the finals in that tournament, I recalled he used Rose and won against the opponent's Sagat..

i also have ps1 controller adaptor for ps3 (same thing luffy uses aka the guy that won 2014), as well as a 360 style ps3 controller

as for stick i use qanba q4 3 in one stick non modded (not sure if i want to), might need.to look for ps4/X1 adaptors soon

i choose the q4 over other sticks cuz #other brands #mainstream #overrated lol......ok real reason is cuz its all in one & the responds is quite nice........& becuz of that the q4 is now become mainstream lol

my friend also gave this adaptor where i can use my keyboard on my ps3, he uses that for COD (not sure.if it will work for sf)

So I dissasembled my PS3 arcade stick, time to get different colors for the sanwa buttons and a plating whenever I can.
As well as making a new stick box form factor.

Don't worry I remembered all the wiring.
