EDIT:
Alright I think I should think about my strategy. Should I enter a 4* car to the boss races? And would my 4* car be:
• Subaru & Toyota - Helps me finish my last manufacturer challenges, awards my aid of nitrous, S tank, and bonus tickets. May or may not be fuel efficient. Will also cost nos when entered in boss battle.
• CR-Z - Super fuel efficient, helps counter boss races. No other races to enter as Honda & FF challenges are completed. Costs nos in boss battle.
• S30 - Good VP bonus, sustainable in boss races. No other races to enter. Not fuel effecient, will spend a lot of nos.
• Just rely on 6* S30 - Easy wins, big VP bonus, very little nos usage. Really bad gas stats (at least 1 S tank needed each boss race (824 gas)).

@norm If you can handle it, 6* S30 is the way to go To get maximum effect for grinding, is getting the most points as possible, just an example would be,
if we did 8hrs grind of my 6* VS 8hrs grind of your 4*
I'll still get more points via the bonuses The downside is it will hit your wallet, alot
@godlike Just half assing this event and aiming for final vp rewards, you know it's not the cash we spend but it's the dedication to grind and time lol, I kind of noticed you weren't bothering since you are at same vp points lol Oh and Gratz on wedding and house , hope it works out for ya, meanwhile I'm about to order a 2016 sti limited, depending if I can give up half my games, yeah I wish we got those cutscenes as well, my gf translates for me lol
@vash Are you on my friends list?
@legend/ken Hello to both of you lol
@wolf I don't really need to use any NOS when you challenge me, but when you do, I x3 NOS anyway =3

I get a feeling I should just do it like that. Seems to be a viable option.
Recently woke up to find that another Top 10 TA-1 player took my #3 spot, but only to stop with a few points for me to go back up. I have also noticed the boss race spawn is handicapped. If I fell to #4, the boss race will come up frequently, and even coming across an On Fire race is common. It's very rare when you're in #1-3, seems to be a catch-up system.
Sadly I have no time to play today so I'll just try to marathon again next week. I'm pretty fortunate to have a lot of free days. Then again, my initial reason to rack up so many points was just so that I can guarantee myself a GT-R...
Anyone think one of the top players has a backup driver in place? That person keeps racking points 24/7, only stops every morning @GMT+11. I know one guy up there who is legit a single player is earning more points than me. It could be an illegal tactic but seeing how endurance racing drivers switch places all the time, perhaps it's fair.

For the most part, if I still had my BRZ at 4*++, I wouldn't bother with N2O so much Thing is though, I made it 5* just to get them Watanabe Gr-8 wheels Really, if only I had a car that can keep up with yours without using any N2O, I'd be using it against you.

I already figured I wouldn't have much time to play for this month so thankfully I didn't go balls out during the 1st day of the event heh. The more GTRs are spread around the playerbase, the healthier it would be for the game overall, imho. Anyway mine's already 6*+ so I'll grind the last duplicate via tokens again, at least that's gonna cost me zero dollars That's nice! I'm currently driving an '07 GDA WRX myself. Sadly its only got 2yrs left till I gotta scrap it. A real car would beat a virtual car anytime, so I say, give up some of your games and spend the moolah on the car and the eventual mods [ Post merged on Aug 20 2015, 06:04 PM ]QUOTE (Normalaatsra @ Today, 12:06 AM) | It's on the first page of this thread, but my friends list is full and all of my friends are active. 30 friends seems to be the cap in the game.

Soon will come the time the Top 1000 will get a R35. That happened once in the JPN version. |
Dang, I might be able to create a few slots on my friend list though. Some have already quit playing it seems.

this is my 2 centavos for this BB event: If your normal boss opponent is: - above 56X power? either use 4** CR-Z @ 58X power, 4*++ S30 @ theoretical 57X-58X for extra VP, 4*++ DC5 for 59X power..... however using Evo 8 4*++ can get you at least 60X power but bad gas stats of somewhere 500+ or below if lucky again you can stick to CR-Z as long they do not troll NOS to at least above 30-50 power on the CR-Z, my CR-Z is at 58X I could stick this at least 620-630 power as long they do not NOS even once as for Shinobu.... (the trollage begins) since you are using S30 for extra VP's and 6*++'s are a gas guzzler I do believe using the best car for the job might be a good answer if she's trolling ya at 830 or higher power spoiler'd for the derp-age and rants This post has been edited by vash944 on Aug 20 2015, 06:32 PM

Guys I a wanting to know if anyone knows the base stats for a 6 ** Fairlady Z 30 TO me it's about gas to HP ratio and I am trying to determine if it is worth having a 6 ** Fairlady z S30. (It will cost me about 160 Tokens to do this--I currently have 11 5 star fairlady z s30- so i could combine them to make a 6 ** or just sell them. ) So if anyone has this information I would appreciate it very much.
Currently I use
5 ** Skyline GT-R BNR32 [SPD+]--- I use this car rarely - I can use this car on fire
Buffed Base HP 621 HP 509 Speed 3285 Speed 2671 Accel 1451 Accel 821 Handling 3216 Handling 2671 Nitrous 4476 Nit 4021 Gas 350 Gas 499
4** Skyline GT-R BNR32 [SPD+]-- I use this car a little -- this car handles the determined at 677 HP
Buffed HP 603 HP 492 Speed 3320 SP 2586 Accel 1226 AC 736 Handling 3131 Handle 2586 Nit 4391 Nit 3936 Gas 268 Gas 417
3** CR-Z-ZF2 -- I use this call all the time-- it usually is enough--sometimes i bump it a little by using a Toyota MR2 GT
Buffed Base HP 501 HP 438 Speed 2650 Speed 2188 Accel 2453 Accel 712 Handling 2453 Handling 2183 Nit 3953 Nitrous 3683 Gas 184 Gas 258

Regarding the the S30 -- you have to consider is the extra fuel cost (this car is very ineffiecnt and a gas guzzler) worth the bonus. I am not sure-- i thought the bonus to VP was 20% and if this is the case that means you have use no more than 20% extra fuel to get the VP bonus. In my case it is not worth it. My 4 ** Skyline GT-R BNR32 [SPD+] uses only 250 gas-- well below the 20% bonus. An equlivant s30 would use more than 300 gas therefore not effiienct. This game is all about fuel consumption.
**Caveat this ASSUMES the VP bonus is 20% -- I am not certain of this-- but it seems in the past events it was only 20% bonus.

QUOTE (vash944 @ 4 hours, 16 minutes ago) | Stock S30 6*++
Power: 503 SPD: 2556 ACC: 906 HND: 2656 NOS: 3956 GAS: 595
Selling token price: 192 tokens (since at an estimate of 64 per 6* car) |
Thank you Vash-- By looking at the base stats-- ummm that car seems awful! My 5 ** is better than that It's base stats are 509 HP 2676 Speed 821 Acceleration 2671 Handling 4021 Nitrous 499 Gas Thanks again for the info you saved me 192 Tokens.... I mean I don't think I am missing much -- Even considering my 5 ** is level 19 it just does not seem worth it.... Even the 5 * Speed+ Fairlady Z S30 does not seem that good-- I mean don't get me wrong I really like this car-- I own a 1968 2000 Fairlady (the orginal fairlady) in RL--so I kinda wanted this car.. This is what it looks like
