even 6*++ Z34 wasn't even cutting times better... nonetheless TA event isn't my cup of coffee

Google play resticts us from getting DRSP because not available in PHL territory, unless tricking it from USA via proxy =/

but Blackmart app has Drift Spirits because rooted phones =P

For the love of god i cannot beat 21:318 in TA-3 im trying all sorts of combinations to get that edge but so far to no avail

Since the TA-1 map is the same as the previous one, I can share my notes on how to achieve the best time on Kagetora 1R which I used to get Top 10 on the last TA.

1st: After Rocket Start.
2nd: Just before the first animated corner (hairpin where you have to judge your exit from the camera angle).
3rd: At the same time when you enter the second animated corner (long one).

The 3rd and 4th ones are crucial so try to get Spirits on each of them. The last animated corner and straight should be done without nitrous.

Got my 180SX to 6*. Will not be upgrading it any further as I'll be using it for TA-4.

it's weird that TA-2 is dominated by NCEC ACC+, then again the hangover when after the race subsided... must be certain cars are affected =/

right now my phone is complaining and DRSP is getting fatter at 1.3GB when fully installed and when this continues then I should find a stable Custom ROM enough to link the whole 16GB or rather 12-14gb usable as OS/ROM memory just like recent phones....

currently my AT&T Note 1 has a partition of 2gb and at least 1.5gb free when totally stock or no other apps installed....

Ok what the HELL. I finally got two max level Gr. 11 Transmissions, and I go to upgrade them, and it's 259000 COINS to combine them. What the ever-loving hell.

Wtf. I just pulled a perfect run in TA-1 with NOS in the right spots and Full Spirits, and only pulled a 23'970

Like what the tips & hints messages say in the loading screen, not all "Excellent" drifts are the fastest way around the corner. Spirits can't always help you either. Try to upgrade your engine and tire parts, as the tires help keep you from going head towards the walls, but the engine is most important as it prevents you from losing lots of speed in a corner. That one Good drift probably gave you enough grip to clear the corner without speed loss.

Personally I never attempt to upgrade two MAX parts that are among the main 5 car parts (Eg, Tr, Ti, Nos, ECU). They are a pain to combine them to MAX and every upgrade will fraction half the level earned when you receive the next grade. I generally wait till I get a higher-grade part by any sort of order.

However I do upgrade my Extra parts, as they don't require much parts to get to MAX, are cheaper to upgrade and combine, and are actually useful as the car's performance is significantly improved. This is important in particular to the new powerful Extra parts (induction kit, drive shaft, suspension kit), as high-grade types for these never spawn, yet their grade limit is unlocked and available.

if there is a steady source of enhancement parts or kits I could work on a gr.7-8 Turbo/shaft knowing the newer extra parts are well worth the extra power you need

sadly I can't order better parts by gold because PHL has no access to payment unless getting me to use a VISA/AMEX/Mastercard to purchase, nonetheless either a google prepaid card might suffice...

I can now see why even a long-time player like you hasn't caught on with the other older players as well hopefully Philippines will be recognised as an existing country in the world to warrant their own Play Store (so does PSN which is a pity).

actually... i could buy a few gold bars at least the $1 thing if it was pay-able thru our local means, then again being cheap is another thing that I won't splurge much on this game (other than WMMT) so far I've spent at least US$2 for 3 days 3G connection for 350mb up/down stream (suxzors isn't it??) so more or less US$4 per week just to catch up with some players except TA events

Well I checked today and saw that it's a reprise of the past Grade Up Parts Order, but this time the next step will give 2 Gr.13 parts. I'll give it a try but it is not recommended to repeat the steps after finishing them.

Even the "Half level" drop when combining is a misnomer. Combining two Gr.11 Max's will give you a Gr.12 at level 50/120. That's closer to 40% than half.

I am glad I got Gr.14 tires in a long ago order, those have been a godsend.

Got a car to achieve 600pw for TA-2, but after affinity level went to Lvl. 1, suddenly it earns one point and moved up to TA-1. should have went for a 3* base equipped at 4*++.

50% of gr11 max level is 55 thus on gr.12 upgraded will give you about 55/120, 45% at an estimate when combined still it is very coin busting procedure

I could upgrade the Engine amd ECU to 12 but... I should prioritize ECU just enough to get me more races

I don't see anyone using the 180SX. Why's that?
