They better sync the updates or this game will lose even more players.

Everyone who has any sense of the ongoing development knows how badly the favoritism has been with MT5, especially compared to the delayed-but-still-there updates in MT4.

I hope this is a sign that we get the Japanese initial version features.......

Well, looks like this is a sign we'll get even with Japan's released cars on their side, I hope.

Wait, this should also indicate the cars we have here to have DU eventually.. I hope for that as well.

Lol.. As with almost every Japanese game.. There will always be Japanese exclusive content which customers outside Japan will never get to experience.. No point b*tching about it.. Nothing will change..

All i ask is that they at least give dress up options to the new cars.. Introducing new cars without being able to dress up is seriously stupid..

Sadly, I pretty much agree with this. I'm not sure if they're still entertaining the player base in the other parts of the world with the game.. even if its scarce or so.

But still, someone can dream of it happening..

At least they're catching up on the OCMs.. For a period we were lagging behind pretty badly..

got a point there.... since WMMT4 we lag about 1 year plus from the JPN server, currently on WMMT5 lagging behind somewhere 6 months or so...

hopefully this installment should give us what the JPN server has on WMMT5, currently this version is for JPN server so probably we gonna get the toned down version at most....

I hope when it gets synced with Japan, physics does not change, lol if you watch some Japan battle videos, you'll know how they're physics suck.

Thanks. So it's very well an Osaka extension to the Kobe Line, route 3. I'll check up on some maps of the loop to see what it is.

They have ZR1 Taxi ver. And the Z4 Safety Car with FUNCTIONING SIREN LIGHT.

MT5 is MT4DX already as is in spirit.
By 2016 we'll have MT6.5.

Since the website specifically states that the new area is Kobe (Hanshin Expressway Route 3), expect it to be like Fukuoka. Sadly this isn't going to replicate the Osaka Wangan and Sakai routes from TXR3, but it deviates from it by going towards Osaka Wangan, but sticking along Route 3, and may as well reach all the way to Kobe.

What this could potentially mean is two things.

1. New ramps for Osaka. I'm surprised this ramp has never been modeled since the beginning, it existed when TXR3 was out.


2. If it implies we will go to Kobe, this would be the length of the track. But taking account to the length of the distance of the road from Osaka to the other end of Kobe, it's about the same length as Kanagawa TA, which doesn't sit well with the regular 12km distance you get from Ghost Battle or default VS Battle length.

As far as physics changes go, I'm happy for a rebalance like with most versions, but I hope they don't go full initial D and just completely change/ruin the driving engine.

Will the international server, indonesia server and japan server be merged into one? Any idea guys?

I sure hope we'll get the DUs on the cars that currently can't install DU.

While the GT-R [R35] does probably need DU's, the R8 (In my opinion) is fine as is, looks pretty badass without any mods
