Not yet. Last time my car tuned up 1 extra bar appeared on the end. And I've been told that fully tuned cars have 2 bars at the end.

take a photo next time you're at the hp select screen and also at the screen where you choose what story chapter to play

either you're full tune and you just haven't figured it out yet or you're not and you need to play more story, losing doesn't matter.

if you finished the very first sfory loop it should be 22 bars of tuning, of course it could be do ne a bit earlier if you lose few games but losing a chance of getting a colored tachometer

Again.... supposedly if you were undefeated for example finishing stage 54 will get you step 21 and a bar for step 22 will pop out

How do you the thing where if someone pins you to a wall you still manage to hug and stay ahead?

IIRC you steer towards the wall until they hit it, after contact then steer away form the wall and you should still be in front

I dunno if that is countering and such....

Just make sure you don't get in their trap... some best offensive players or veterans can trap/shove you in the rear area to slam you in the wall

Countering on the other hand needs a bit of intuition and experience, but make sure you are ahead just enough to block its possible of outrunning you

Even +1 advantage can intiate a counter but you need to risk blocking the shover and if done correctly that you are still ahead

i think if where they push you is on the back half of the car it sorta won't work? not 100% on this.

actually very slim chance to work... the key word is "unaware"

Much like a prank called "Kancho" rolleyes.gif

If a player is aware getting shoved at the back you just block them back... otherwise you get shoved thru the wall

Could someone tell me how to deal with the 1st corner when you took 1st Belt Line route at Osaka? Can't seem to pass that corner cleanly.

I clear that corner by fully releasing the accel then turning in.

Doesn't work all the time though. Just depends on when I release the accel and turn in.

You let someone go first and then dive into their car.

What I mean is without the opponent. How can I clear that corner cleanly without having a wall tap? Same to the 2nd Sakai corner.

If you can do Hakone, nothing else will ever bother you.

Of course almost no one can actually do hakone perfectly in my experience.

Once you get used to hakone, the rest would be ezpz in comparison is what he's getting at
or at least easier to tackle
