lucky you

At first it appears like a normal race, until you get to about 1:21. Apparently due to the Mazdaspeed 6's length, it can block a whole lane in one of those dividers when facing completely sideways. The reaction after one of the opponents (the red car) was forced to a complete stop as a result was gold

Ok,I am playing with some Indian guy which car rank which is SS7 Mazda RX-8 and my car was A1 RX-8so we were playing at Nagoya then i was 2nd because he gave me 1 Corolla so i banged the Corolla.Then,it was only left with i think 1.0 km then there was this red turn to a straight road he turned i turned i was like 23m behind of him.I was like "Shit man i am gonna lose" then he turned to me and said to me "Bye Bye" he never look at the screen then banged into a Namco truck i then got 1st i was laughing at him like crazy.He was like so angry lol.

LOL kinda like what happened the race in my previous post above (the lower one). Just like my friends there said: "Sh*t happens"

I was doing TA on hakone thought i was doing very weel at the end i gained -"007 seconds.

Every time the guys from HFN/808 try to blockade me, they end up all hysterical because I blow around -- or flat-out right through -- anything they throw at me. I think one of 'em from yesterday's 3way managed to tag me w/ a brake check that barely slowed me any.

Was playing against a girl in C1.
Didn't want to go all out, so I held back.
She was pretty darn good but she tapped the wall and lost a little speed.
I got a head and since I didn't wanna throw cars or block, I let her catch up.
300 m from the finish line, I was still ahead and a car started to sway my way, I accidentally hit it and sent it flying towards her path where she was trying to over take me.
won by 50 m.

Was racing against the same girl in Hakone, still holding back.
In the uphill yellow turn (The one with a very small margin of error) following a yellow right in inbound I accidentally put her up against the wall.
Felt bad, let her go ahead.
I was trying so hard not to laugh.

I fell asleep at the wheel during story mode. I still won.

This is a little frustrating but come to think of it, its funny. It happens last time but not now. At this particular machine, The gear would shift to Neutral whenever I played a game on that machine. Then even funnier, I didnt realise the gear roblem until the other charcaters overtake me.

Wangan track, hit a truck at 330km/h at 3KM till finish line..Legacy B4 doing same speed hit me from behind, took my speed from 160ish back to 280ish..I finished second in that race

decided to race a friend on Hakone downhill, he had a mazda rx7 with 150hp advantage to my toyota carolla; he was in the lead for 85 percent of the race. In the last quarter I weaseled passed him on a turn and won, he yelled out "WTF" and at first was like O_o then was like "ha you sneaky mexican"

**not a hilarious story but me and my friend found it amusing.

In Hakone, I'm leading and almost winning when a GUEST RX-7 popped out and hit me head-on. Then I finished second.

A WTF moment of 2010.

Stopped by the arcade last week. Dude was teaching his girlfriend to play 3DX+ using a stock(>360HP) car, and shifting for her in Story Mode. She does all right, maybe dinging a few walls and stuff, but managing to keep ahead of Ko and DZ (in Chapter 2). Well, she woulda won, but the tragic thing is that for no explainable reason he downshifted her (6>1) at the finish line -- and she lost by less than 10m.

I guess that guy was pretty sneaky.

IDK, I think it was more like overconfidence, something along the lines of, "This one's in the bag -- time to kick back and cruise."

Unfortunately, especially against the computer in Story Mode, it's never a good idea to downshift for no reason, and especially that far when moving -- 6>1 when on Wagan-Yokohane and so close to the finish line (like 20m) is definite suicide/sabotage, even on the early chapters.

Me personally, I say let them learn Manual by pointing them in the right direction and learning solo. That way, there's no faulting anyone and no "WTF, why'd you d-shift me?"
Besides, how're they really learning to Manual if someone's shifting for them?

kinda sounds epicly wrong in alot of lvls.

I reckon the best way to teach manual to someone is to like.. Makee them sit down on the machine... and then just make them practice going 1,2,3,4,5,6,5,4,3,2,1. Once you see they have got that in the bag then you can let them try it in the game.

My fault on that accidental wording, but head outta the gutter -- you know I didn't mean it that way.

the funniest that happen to me?
i kick the coin slot of mt3 then it give me up 10 credits and the manager did not notice me even he is just 6 feet away from me

i was playing few months back.. 4 players.. i took the 4th machine, which means 3rd is on my left.. so, he was a small kid, round and cubby type.. i remember it was yoko, haneda ramp.. so the game started and the cute kid tap my left arm and said, " can let me win ?? ".. i was like........... ok, i treated him a divider but eventually, i let him win by letting him run and i block the other 2 players.. i will never forget the expression on his face when he ask me to let him win..

I have a similar story, although it was the mom that asked me to let his son win.
Just recently, I had a drunk guy sit next to me and just as I was doing some TA, at first I thought it was annoying because I wanted to break my last TA, but then he started talking about how he can never get girls and how they always use them for his body. Then he proceeded to ask me whether or not he needed a car , I was like not really but if you have nothing else it helps to atleast be able to pick her up. Then hes like, I have a bike for that.
Lmao he's 27 but hes somewhat slow. Put it this way it took him like halve a year to learn how to block on street fighter!!!!!

i saw one time 2 girls came to play with cars that has neons n flame 2s
thought they were good and then one kid with a r34 came and butted in but another angry not german kid was ranting at how the last cab wasnt link so aft the 1st match the kid with the r34 obviously won by not by alot
one girl continued and one girl got up then the angry not german kid sat down and when the next match started he kept doing everything to keep the r34 kid last while ranting and raving and cussing like the german kid
he did stuff like braking slapping slamming even shoving the r34 into trucks dividers everything n anything
and purposely slowly down and continued to brake just to let the girl pull further n futher away.

i think it was years ago during chapter 49 of the story mode(i dont have dx or dx+ yet) i looked at the advantage of eiji kamiya(since i like it when one of my opponents are having 1,000+m advantage) and accidentally crashed into a truck.

i always laugh at how fail punks get when the scream and rant when they lose to a AT player esp after their team mates joins in and lose together! also slamming the wheel so hard it causes a wheel lock error and the rest continue playing while he have to wait for his machine to be resetted without any credit refund lol

Overheard at the wangan machines in SG:

"Are you a friendly friend?"

I lol'ed loudly in front of them.
