And I thought the funniest thing I'd ever seen was my friend trying to use my Evo9, only to scream when she discovered/forgot it was on Auto; she also screamed when dinging walls on Osaka. My goodness...
To give due credit, she and another gal that pop by the local arcade from time to time are comparatively good, being above average in skill and able to hold their own against the regular guys.

@Tensa: As for that guy, might I suggest he go for the title "Flying Car"; it's just a shame you can't go flyin' through the guardrail

so many n00bs with absolutely NO common sense whatsoever play the game because they think they know whats best. maybe they're right (in some sick, sad way), but it's simply easier to take advice from people who obviously been playing more than you.

I just learned of an all-girl Maxi3 team was just formed recently at one of the local arcades. All of the members have FT'd cars and rather decent players (the founder is a good player actually; all the members are also close friends of another Maxi3 team). One of them battled with a friend of mine (and a member of that other team) who's an expert in Hakone (which is also the course they battled). While I didn't get to watch the battle itself because I was doing Ghost battle myself, I could imagine it must have been quite messy (eg ramfest) because the girl whined a few times and at one point yelled "gay!" (actually in our native language, so the actual word is "bakla"), causing everyone to laugh and the guy she battled to feign hurt, as well as nearly distracting me.

Screaming girls may be annoying if they're doing it "24/7" (when they play, that is). My friend only does it every once in awhile - she'll forget every now and then every other month, it seems, but seems to remember all the time at some random point.

A classic one I do remember was against a guy by the name of Gerbil (don't remember how he 5-spaced his car's name); after a 3-way on Osaka, we PvPed Osaka.
Right off the starting line, we took the straightaway instead of the ramp. Using my GDB-C (I think), I flawlessly "scooped" between the right wall and an R2, something *normally* impossible to do with anything but an R2. I got around it cleanly, only to hit a second R2 in front of it. My "epic success" turned into an instant "EPIC FAIL" - he yelled "That's a car! You're not supposed to hit a car!" I found that oddly hilarious - keeping a straight face and focusing on the match was a struggle.

i sometimes yell out "DON'T HIT THAT TREE!!" to one of my friends because we always bag him out for being a complete dumbshit, and he normally replies with "F**K.. where?"

LOL! Maybe this makes sense in Hakone but does this predicament apply in the other courses as well? (eg C1/NBL/Osaka where foilage is nonexistent)

lol we mostly only yell like that at him when he plays osaka because thats all he really plays anyway

...or you could try "left turn" on a right turn. Which you can do on Osaka...

well it wasnt during wmmt3, but i was playin ID4 and some random teenager just runs up to my face while in time attacking and says WOO!!! SSWEETT!! CAN I PLAY!!. i stopped TAin and i looked over to my friend like WTF JUST HAPPENED!?DID SOME RANDOM KID JUST DO THAT!?

How about a case of mistaken identity: (this is thanks to me using the R2, now colored yellow, in a VS match )

Last night 3 of my friends and I were in 4-way VS match in C1. About midway in the race I was in 2nd, and the 3rd and 4th placers were coming up from behind because I took a corner badly. Both of them hit me hard enough to give me a push, then suddenly one of those two yelped "Ack! I thought it was traffic!" Apparently he or both were trying to ram each other into the back of the next traffic car that was coming up, only they didn't realize the "traffic car" they saw was MY CAR (as if they didn't even bother to notice the name label above my car or something).

lol mistaken identity... they sound like retards not to notice a name label above your car...

Yeah hehe. Even funnier was that at the race finish, the one who yelped ended up last, because he got mangled by some dense traffic jam, while I (in such a small car) squeezed through it quite easily to snatch 3rd at the last few seconds.

some guys fishing guest cars, i get on and challenge them both looking at EFF DEE like its a piece of slow machine. the guy tells me to hold brake as soon as i accept challenges, we pick map. on the map load screen btoh of the guys hold brake and i dont, and i get yelled at "HOLDD BRAKE NOWWWW" i hold the brake.

1 gets owned by 1km and the other gets beaten by just 2km. and i wanted some fun with some boost.

lesson to all, just cuz theres no1 yelling out EFFFF DEEEEE doesnt mean your gunna beat it easily =)

Something that happened way back when that I find totally hilarious: I was so tense and focused on the game that when my friend spoke up from outta nowhere, I kinda yelled and even hyperventilated a bit! The fact that he'd never said anything up to that point (through at least 2 whole Story Chapters) didn't help, either.

while racing in nbelt (clockwise) w/ a local player and a kid;
Me (R- 34), d local dude (R33) and d kid (E8) race.....
though i lead. the r33 dude try to push me around to distract me
but that didn't affect me, so i used d shoulder lanes,
perfectly theres a big truck and a hi ace behind of truck and
snitch inside of it..... (Take Note: Im using aero C for 34)

so the result is im able to get out freely and d r33 dude got stucked between d truck and hi ace.... leaving him 200m away fr. me....

i leave my screen on the front page... take my jacket off slowly... one of them notices my rank... swears..

i smile and move on to challenge.

another guy came in later and fished a kid (by going 780 hp on osaka.. -.-")... i took over... boost off again...
