QUOTE (fknazn @ Today at 7:19 PM) | Hey guys..
Could u give me a run down of the GC8?
Like, whats good and bad about it..
One thing iv noticed, the GC8 has horrible acell during the 2nd, 3rd and 5th gear, but its 4th gear is simply awesome...
And i think my car tends to slide around a buttload, but i think thats just poor drivers skill on my part..
Off the top of my head i got: Aero Set C 2nd last enkie rims the spoiler obtained after Aero set C and the aero mirrors?
Im sorry if im not helpful enough, but yeah, im still new to this lol |
It's a 5 gear car, you're probably shifting way too early from 2nd gear to 3rd gear
Ideally your shift from 2nd to 3rd should be between 190km/hr to 195km/hr.
This applies for any 5 gear car.
If you shift like that, you should be able to hold up with other 6 gear cars.

More or less, he summed it up about right, though I shift either slightly earlier or later depending on the person. Other than that, it should handle at least as well as the Evo 8 and Evo 9. I only say that since its my main car.
As far as the aero kits go, I still use my stock STi aero. Not that there's a problem with any of the aero packages, its more of personal preference and individuality. The behavior though is balanced out though if I'm not mistaken, Aero C is the heaviest out of the three, though there is a separate thread for the aero kits including pictures of how they look.
