Dumb Question here. Wad does green aura means? I just got it on my R34 a few days backs. B4 that is was purple..

it means that your driving style is smooth.....doesn't matter anyway..it can change after 2-3 battle....also people said that aura gettin' bigger every 5000 km increment, I think it also depend on your cursor position on drving style quadrant....I also have R34, 6000 km, the cursor is placed on the top left on the 'smooth' quadrant...I noticed that my aura is bigger than my friend's car that also have 6000+ km mileage

If you retire from a race in story mode does it count as a loss on your card and results in it getting shaded?.

Auras:
Green - you pretty much do not hit anything
Purple - you hit other opponents
Blue - you hit traffic and walls
Red - you hit everything.

I've never tried to retire in story mode.. but should be counted as a loss if you are able to retire.. and therefore be shaded.

Well I finally managed to beat one of the top ghost in my area and I screwed up in the run. So I challenged my own ghost to have a flawless run saved, I screwed up again and retired. So then it hit me and I asked myself what if this is done in story mode?. It would be nice to know what happens.

I don't believe you can retire in Ghost Battle.. when you turn around to retire in Ghost your last ghost will be remember as turning around at that point.. i have tried to the retire many times in ghost mode before and it does not work..

Anyways in story mode if you turn around, isn't it just a sign of you give up.. therefore you lose? and story mode its pretty much when the opponent crosses the finish line first the story would end.. there is no time after they finish you can turn around to retire.

I'm new to midnight tune but i've seen people playing before so i thought i'd create a card too. So i created one yesterday and i made a HUGE error. The guys tht play at those machines really use the gears, so the gear stick is loose. After wrestling to get most of my name done, came the car selection. Not too bad. But the thing is, i chose a five-gear mit evo VI GSR (as on card), and then it came to transmission. So tht one went pretty quick. I thought i had manual until i tried one race, my friend pointed out "how come you using auto? I thought you wanted manual?" Then i realised. The gearstick was so loose that i ended up with an automatic transmission car.

So my question is: Can i change the transmission?

Of course, you can change your transmission type, just after you insert your card, just pressing the green button until transmission menu appear on your screen....

Does anyone know how many wins it takes to get from one HP to the next? like i know from stock -600HP/B you only need one win, then from 600-800 you need two, but anyone know how many wins it takes to get to 810, 815, and 820? Thanks.

to get 810 and 815 it's 10 races/wins each (chapter 41-50 and 51-60) and from 815 to 820 it's the last 20 races/wins (chapter 61- 80). something like that.

What happens when you need to renew a card but suddenly the machine can't produce any new cards? Can I still renew the next time I play on another machine?

There's a big warning appear on the screen before insert coins that shows they ran out of cards....well therefore never insert your cards in...just wait until they loaded it w/ new cards again...

did someone create a list of wich car are top-tier, middle-tier and low-tier?

i dunno about a tier list, i think there might be one somewhere around. as for card renewal, you can renew your card any time there's cards in the machine. for mt3 ( can't remember for mt1 or mt2) on the title screen before you even put your coins into the machine there's a little sign saying there's no cards in this machine or something. saves you wasting your coins to find out you can't renew and have to play a stock race.

What happens if you ignored the warning about the machine being out of cards is- insert your card. The machine says you must renew; the mahine looks for cards only to find it has no more to dispense; The machine tells you that your card cannot be renewed at this time and spits your card out; you are sent to the stock vehicle selection screen. Yes, you may renew the card that got spit back out at a later time.

excuse me...do u mean that likee uhh...for example i renew my card once and i got da marroon colour..if the second time i renew my card and i choose da new colour..my marrooon colour will be lost foreverr?? O_O and and is it true if u havent finish story mode and played ghost all the way..and da rims that u refuse to change will be gone forever...and u can never get it back even if u really need it??? reply me pls..thanks alot

Everytime you renew a card, you will get to chose your colour.. Every colour you have unlocked will be able to chose from.

Rims are able to chose.. from the manufacturer that is displayed, the ones you have on now and stock..

does anyone know if the old WMMT1 and WMMT2 codes to unlock the secret cars still work in WMMT3? Thanks.
