no it was said that if ur mt2 card was unshaded u get the wangan R soundtrack, the namco tech & a basic color change my friend drives a dup celsior & got a basic color change when he transfered the card i remember that was from wmmt2 cuz i gave it 2 him on the spot

if you can change colours for unshaded mt2 cards, half of mine would be different colour

You're talking about the color change that applies to only a few cars upon transfer, no lies in that. It's only on some cars that the color change option happens. The only ones I remember at the moment are Celsior, Corolla, and HiAce.

Only available for cars with colours that are unavailable in WMMT3... and it has to be on that unavailable colour too.

really i thought that u can change any basic color i didn't know that u can only change 2 the new colors unavalible mt2

As far as a color chart, no. Depending on the type of rims you're interested in, one of the "Experts" could probably elaborate more on what styles are available.

Or another way of finding out would be finishing dress up.

I'm sorry if these questions had been asked before within this topic, because I don't want to check 25 pages of posts lol. I'm still quite new to this game so if anyone is kind enough to clarify the "yes" part of the quoted questions it would be greatly appreciated. Because from what i understand, a card will be shaded forever after ur defeated in story so how can it be unshaded after you've been defeated?

Also, another question I have is.....if i started a new card and beat story mode for the first time without losing a race, would my card be shaded or unshaded if i played story mode for the second time and lost a race?

what i do know is that, once you're unshaded, thats it, you can shade again forever.

There's no such thing as shaded forever. The statement "it will be shaded permanently" refers to only ONE loop. A shaded car can be unshaded once the driver completed the next story loop undefeated.

For instance, loop 1 (80 stages)= unshaded then you proceed to loop 2 (80 stages) and unfortunately, you lost in one of the stages and this leaves your car in shaded mode. In order to make your car unshaded back, you have to complete loop 3 (another 80 stages) without losing.

In your case, you gets more than ONE star after every races.

But what if you want to get Wangan Midnight R soundtrack? Do you have to be undefeated/unshaded in your first story loop/cycle...........or is it otherwise???

You can also increase rank when your battle stars reach 10000....................and now, as shown by this guy, you can get a rank up as well when you reach 20000 stars and an engraving of some kind of animal.

Just as many tries as you need are okay. If you don't manage to "unshade" until your fourth loop even, you can still get the soundtrack.

If you're good enough to reach that many, you know what it takes, no further need to refer to a puny FAQ.
