i have all the GTRs but i like the r32 the most for performance/light weight, and r34 for looks/performance. but i agree wit most ppl here, r34 is too big and not as good as the r32 in the game.

I hear ya man I originally had a R34 400 stars at a B3 lost it. So I just started another one the exact same. Still the only car I use.

I have to say that, the R32, but only because of the handling for apex speed on turns, if i had to pick a car to master, it would be the R34. It gives you such an advantage if you can master the handling, because of the crazy straight away speed and acceleration it has. R32 is better, but the right driver can make the R34 better.

R32s are good for beginners who are just starting playing WMMT coz it eats the corners easier..
R33s and R34s need skills to master, coz the handling is somewhat tricky...
I found that R34s are quite hard myself. Even after playing it from WMMT1 to WMMT3..

all the cars have their own cons and pros.

the r32 has a good handling , but a bad acceleration .
r33 drifty , good top speed and accel.
r34 (based on my views) is in the middle , good top speed and quite a good accel.
r32 is quite famous because when it first came out in wmmt1 it was quite a good car. so whenever you see a r32 pls. think. of when it was released , instead of being biased.

i drive a r34 and its EASY to handle, even easier than a r32 IMO.

well i have a r34 and now i got a r32 and getting use i m jus geting use to it can sum plz tell me best setup for r32

I'll go with either stock kit or Aero C...
Stock kit slides a little bit more and if you're hardworking jerking the wheel, then it shouldn't be a problem...

I tested my friends R32 yesterday. Great car with lots of goodies (WMMT2 transfered unshaded to WMMT3) It almost has the same set-up as my EvoIII (posted in the Mitsubishi thread). Don't ask me why, but my friend likes to copy me, LoL...

Great grip and ok acceleration. IMO the final gear (5th) is not so great as my EvoIII, but it has lots of potential in it's 3th and 4th gear. I tested this baby in NBL, 760 set-up. Let me know if that suits your driving style. Some say the VOLK Racing TE37 is a great rim. You can test different rims when you are dress-up lvling, since every part is on the go. ENKEI WRC Tarmac EVO Forged or YOKOHAMA ADVAN RCII would be my best bet for people who like to drive on high HP (780HP) + drift.

As mentioned in the Skyline Lounge, I switched to the R32 after driving an R34 for some time and decided it's not giving me the best performance (someone described the R34 as "handling like a beast"). And as evidenced by a few VS matches against skilled drivers, the R32 is a great performer (scored a few wins against a long time R32 driver who's almost unbeatable, as in he wins 98% of every VS match against anyone).

I hear a lot of people saying the R33 and R34 are hard to control and are more power based like the Supra, but I've driven both and think the handling it excellent, even on Hakone. There both larger than something like an Evo and Sti, but IMO they make up for it by sticking to the track with AWD. I'm think of getting myself an R32, because if I can drive the other two with ease it should be a breeze to drive the R32.

I think all 3 GT-Rs have their pros and cons...

The R32 - smallest and lightest out of the 3 GT-Rs. But top gear lacks a lot and the car's acceleration is rather shit from 7500rpms to 8750rpms.

The R33 - good acceleration and great top speed. A little heavier so need to work on the wheel more and bulkier which isn't too bad.

The R34 - good acceleration and good top speed as it can't matches the R33 in that regard. Very big and heavy especially on cornering.

The R32 is more of the trainee car now. The R33 is like the Supra actually as I think about it and the R34 is just a big Z33 with a big Playstation body.

Personally, I wouldn't go for a GT-R even though I have one as it's too common these days. I prefer the Mazdaspeed 6 as it's not a car commonly used and it's a challenge. But that's just me...

i used the r32 just bcoz of pure emotional reasons: its the same car as reina...

R34s are indeed hard to handle.

But once you've got the hang of it, it's a nice car to drive.

It could push your opponents easily, and got a good speed on straightways.

Skilled drivers also could easily outrun opponents on Hakone, even though they cornered quite harder than usual cars.

I still can't drive R34 in MT3... XD

The body's too shitty huge, and theres this immense understeer whenever you turn. Not to mention, the brakes suck as well since the car's so freaking heavy.

The R33 is easier to drive than the R34, LOL

Well to each his own.

I'm definitely sticking to the R32 as a "competition" car (along with the Mazda6, GTO, and Fairlady Z33), especially considering how fun it was tuning in MT2 before importing it into MT3, plus I actually got surprising results at one friendly competition race the previous weekend (see this video clip). The R34 in my fleet is now officially retired after I've found it too "slippery".

The R34 being "slippery" isn't the problem, the R32 is just top tier, although not as God-like as in MT2 but its no pushover. In reality The car is babying you with better handling v_v...

R32 is indeed an "all-rounder". That car is good in almost every course in MT3.

No wonder everyone keeps choosing R32 for their car..

I might wanna try FT-ing my R33. I haven't tried the 820hp R33 though..

Try a "no-wing" + "Aero Set C" setup in the R34. It "slides" less than before.. Tried that already ^o^

But still can't get less than 2'32"0xx in Hakone.. What the heck?

it is true that the r32 is a more noob friendly than the r34 and that its better than the r34 only because its smaller, but if you can handle the r34, IMO the r34 would beat the r32 easily since its acceleration is way better.. i have both r32 and r34, id admit the r32 is better at like hakone, but other than that i can get better TA times with the r34.

Does that mean the GTO, Mazda6, Z33, and Evo 8 are babying me as well (since they handle almost similarly and have given me good performances and win records - just check out their A6 rankings in my signature)?

After this I'm starting to question your skill level... I mean, you come to the conclusion that the R32 was better based on a 4 way, boost on C1 battle, wins and ranking, all of which mean jack. The R32 also doesn't handling anything like the cars you just mentioned, thats fact because no two cars perform or handle the same.

Some say it's the car. Other say it's the driver. Depends on how you drive your car.

Accel - Balanced - Power
R32 - R33 - R34

I've driven a R32 and own a R34. Dunno 'bout the R33, but I'm planning to create one next Friday. Just to see how'd it drives.

After playing with my R34 versing an R32 today on Hakone..

I've found a few things from that battle today :

R34 have more acceleration compared to R32 on the start, and on the exit of corners.
R34 decelerate more than the R32.
R34 tends to corner too widely, but it keeps its balance after exiting a corner.
R34 is TOO FRIKKIN' BIG TO PLAY IN HAKONE... But nice when you drive it nice ^o^
R34 could push the R32 easily..

Results : 1 win, 1 loss..

SHOULD BE A WIN.. But i got rammed on the last corner T_T too bad...

I think that R34s is quite good in C1 as well..
-> a win vs FD3S & CT9A 8MR today..

And also quite good in Osaka
-> a win vs FD3S & CT9A 8MR as well today..

I STILL HAVE TO POLISH MY MT SKILLS !!
