Just had a game last night... I Lost, drove my S30Z against an EVO... we planned the game and our own rules of the game: same settings, no slamming, C1, boost on... Damn! EVOs are way too good... i lack skill too... i lack practice as well... Those 4WDs are difficult to beat... sad.gif

Have to train some more...

Oh no!? Not the possibility of people flaming other people. This is supposed to be a support thread... To help... appreciation in winning... and support for losing...

this didnt happen today but it's still a good story i should share:D
Was power building my supra when a guy in a tanked r33 comes up and challenges me. He seems nice enough so i accept. Basicaly it's the closest race i've ever had. we're 5-10 meters appart the whole time, taking corners side by side like the takahashi brothers from ID. Final corner. I'm behind 10 meters and I think i've lost it since there's not long till the end. But I chuck the JZA80 into the corner with all she's got. I pull the corner off at blinding speed, slip in front of the R33, and take the win. Best race i've ever had.

Since I'm still playing MT2,

Tuning some cars, now got five legit unshaded cars. Got c1 meister title. Beat this guys time on Hakone by a few 100th sec. Battled alot with friends so now I have a few new stars to add to my cars. and thats it smile.gif

Oh! almost done with another unshaded car. got a several more stages left.

@Tchan

Shouldn't it be about time that you convert some of those unshaded cars of yours to WMMT3? happy.gif

Tell me about it.
The only arcade I have here is gameworks and the only one that has MT game.(only MT2 for the time being)

Reading all these post of MT3 got me thinking, "Man by the time I get it, everyone else is at S rank, outrun modes completed and dress ups"
Can't wait bc I'm only going to focus on my cars that I transfer over until I get all the dress ups, outruns completed, and at least to S ranks b4 I start on some of the other cars like the r2 etc.....

NE ways, I'm getting all the unshaded cars I can make b4 that time smile.gif (my favorite ones of course or mayb all of them)

I suddenly remembered my time attack at the Full Metropolitan Highway Circuit. All 59 kilometers of it... It's a "relaxing" 334km/h "cruise"... I blocked challengers... I wanted to enjoy... mellow.gif ----hommmmm.... hommmmm... You should try it if you haven't done again that for quite awhile... the lengthy wangan line is hypnotic!!!

S30 is easier to drive than E9 on hakone.

it's kinda difficult for me to get fast times with my E9 ~

Played today and tacked another 450km onto my card, alot of which was free because I went on an 11-game win streak (and am still on it)

Life is good, 1,000km to go before my aura.

There's something immensely satisfying about watching your ghost beat people over and over again, especially if it's the same person attempting the ghost repeatedly. I saw my ghost tried 8 times straight on hakone by the same person, and it never lost.

I like seeing my car drive and win without me behind the wheel, I can cheer myself on........and uh...........wow this is getting pretty obsessive.

Nobody seems to like my pac-man sticker on an orange body except for me. I think it's fun, everyone else seems to think that your car should look like a car you'd take on the road, even though it's a game.

had a game yesterday tried to get the new belt line crown.. but i always screw up at the long sweeping right yellow turn (the one before the big strech.).. how do you guys take that one.. and im running at 820hp. i cant seem to get the right angle and right timing on entering the turn. anyway i lost a good 10m from him. and i actually caught up on the red turn so that means im better than him at the first red turn. hmm hmm.. and yeah watched a dude try to defeat my friends C1 crown. i observed my friends ghost and loks like i can take him on.. hehe.. i'll prolly give it a try by next week.. and yeah, im still the king of yokohane in our area.. but come friday and the weekends,i doubt that my kingship will stay for long.. oh yeah, time attacked wangan westbound. got 4:07.??? from 4:09.??? and currently 30th on the world rankings.. as i've looked up in the WR most of them are just under 4:06.. and i do think that i can still strech my 4:07 given that i almost bashed on the blue left turn before the finish line.. now if i get the perfect entry there,i should get to at least in the top 15 or 20 in the world. happy.gif

This was at Orbit, I'd play at LG if it weren't jap cabinets, my left arm is totally gimp, I can't shift on the left side for the life of me.

I SUCK at Hakone too, that's what was even more amusing about it. Anyone half-decent at Hakone could obliterate my ghost. Osaka is very quickly becoming my new course over Belt Line, I'm gettng very very good at it, quickly learning the proper lines to take (it's also where I got all 11 of my wins).

Your name looks familiar, did you ever play at Funland or Orbit recently?

I dunnow, Bennz, A.Y.K and Drift are pretty good, Bennz is arguably the best of the three, and one of the best I've seen.

I learned how to do osaka by watching him tongue.gif

A.Y.K sucks man

just because he has neons on a purple e8 does not mean he is fast.

last time he rechallenged me 8 times and lost every time, then got off the seat and left.

we play osaka/yokohane/c1. It's like no challenge =.=

Benny is a friend of mine, he's somewhat ok but he still needs to improve.
especially on osaka, he's like two seconds slower than lovegety's average time.

Interesting.

I probably won't get familiar with the LG crowd, because again, I tried racing those cabinets and uh....it was embarassing. I alomst lost in story mode, that's how bad it was.

Reading everybody's post here makes me realize that I am not really into the competetive side of this game. I really enjoy those time attacks, but not even competing for best times, its just that I like the feeling of driving at hi-speed. But again I remembered another attempt using the Special Car Time Attack. I used the Devil-Z, i did make fun of it, tweaked the tuning to maximum engine upgrade, and disregarded handling. I crashed alot of times, much like when Akio had his car for the first time... Lots of understeer... and when you do oversteer, it throws itself all the way to the edge of the road... Doomed!!!

uh...you're playing MT2 i guess?

because in MT3 they removed special car ~

they replaced it with something called official time attack car which was a 820hp car of whatever you had with stock parts, and namco decals.
