went to superarcade last night instead of AI. 'cause AI is hell when it comes to parking in a friday night...

anyway, i realized that id players play here for id4, and mt players play mt3 at AI. so i got to play a lot. the price even went down to $.75 per play (and another $.75 to continue)!

my friend recently got a white s30 discard from a member of this forum. and he's already passed me by a couple of stages on storymode!

It is annoying at first but it tends to be less annoying afterwards.

For my fellow pinoy's here (Filipino = Fili - Pino + Y = PinoY) ... any of you who played around SM Mall of Asia Powerstation? i noticed that last Saturday - late afternoon... no players!? how come!? i think only 2-5 guys played, and they feel bored... little action perhaps... is Powerstation's token pricing unreasonable? (27 pesos?! but Timezone-Glorietta 4 offers 29 pesos!)

You gotta be kidding me. from what I know, Timezone Glorietta 4 also has the same *expensive* rates as it's other Timezone brethren: P27 per swipe. Then again, I haven't been there in a while.

Maybe you just chanced upon the time when everyone decided to chow down on a snack or two before getting back to WMMT3.

I took a very difficult Osaka crown to take, and was very proud of myself.

Then I ghost vs.'d Osaka and completely forgot that it overwrites your old ghost.

.....so uh, that was a waste.

Use it to your advantage. If you do something like that do another run where you just sit there at the beginning without moving and the next time you race it after that do your best run possible and if you F up on that run just retire and try try agian.

Okay so today was the day where I actually got to do everything I wanted. Like I said to myself, I played with the JZA80 all day. I got the "Hanshin Circular Trainee" title. And actually beat 40 chapters unshaded!! i was like WTH. It's so cool. And GAARA said it's harder to control than the R33. I currently have Aero Kit A, some sexy looking rims which I forgot the name. , carbon hood, and is wingless. i still can not belive it's unshaded! i almost beat Dicey's ghost on Hanshin but I just coudn't pass him. I was up his butt the whole time though. For more info on the JZA80 just check out my sig.

I almost got in fight at AI last night. fu** that guy.

Dude I was at AI last night till 8.30pm ish what that hell happened? The place has become flooded with newbs on Sunday. None of them acknowledge me even when I lose and say good race. One managed to get their first star off me and started celebrating and stopped battling. What the hell. J^2 got 6 stars last night off noobs with full tune cars that had no business using them. Kept wanting to boost off us too until they got left behind by over 100m with boost on. I might lurk Super Arcade more if this crap keeps happening. Who're you fighting with?

Yes, too many noobs, especially the cap/glasses guy who slams the shifter. I put my card on his machine just to get him off. Showed him how to shift by shifting from 3rd to 4th using just my middle finger. And I'm sure his friend felt pretty manly as he drove his fully tuned, freakishly bright pink car.... and lost. Anyways, I got better at Osaka, thanks to The J, but I am still teh lose.

"I know I'm doing it right when the entire machine buckles and makes smashing grinding noises as I misshift the gear selector and then proceed to put all my might into ripping the stick out of the assembly SO I KNOW IT'S IN GEAR!" well thankfully Ed tells me the owner maintains the H gates weekly as a matter of fact maintenance schedule rather than seeing it as an uncommon and uncesirable chore like so many other arcade owners... so I guess it's ok for now so long as they get out of the habit. It's just grating and annoying to watch.

This is symptomatic of the more reasonable game prices appearing round the network. Combined with a general doldrum of team activity due to the height of school and work and experienced players backing off battling for a while. Now that I'm at 303 on my main card (I can't even begin to count how many other stars I've won for the other cards.) I think I may take it easy for a while. Post in the So Cal/ Team thread for individual/ team respective request for battle with me but I think I'm more or less ok for now until I see more people playing. Maybe Thanksgiving we'll see lots more people out for battle.

His card name was Triky but it was spelled different. So it was a 4 way battle with him a couple 818 and some other guy.He is on the 1st machine and an 818 on the second. I should also mention there are several cards above each machine. Anyways there were 3 guys standing directly behind the first machine and 1 standing behind the 2nd so I asked the guy standing behind the 2nd if there was anyone after him he said no so I put my card above the 2nd and got ready to wait for awhile. Then all of a sudden all 3 of the guys that were standing behind the first machine just left, 2 of them grabbed there cards as they went. At this point they are not even 1km into the race so I moved my card to the now open machine they race he looses and I start getting my tokens ready. Then I look up and he looks like he's getting some tokens ready so I start taking some steps forward to say something to him when the guy on the 2nd machine turns around see's me approaching with a not so pleasant look on my face and says with a kinda puzzled look on his face "do you wanna race here" I said "no" motioned to the person behind him and added "he's waiting to race here" I then turned to the guy I was approaching and said "I'm racing here" Triky responds with "no you put your card above that machine" I say "what are you talking about my cards right there" and point at it above his machine. Then he goes through the process of exiting the whole time muttering “that’s not right that’s not right” so he gets up and as I'm sitting down he says "that’s messed up those aren’t the rules" I say “WTF are you talking about I come here all the time I know the rules". I then notice that he's like bouncing around on his toes and leaning forward like he's gonna do something so I stand back up get in his face and say " what are the fu**ing rules then you tell me the fu**ing rules" no response, he walked away. I am aware that some arcades go by different rules but here especially anytime someone puts there card above your machine while your racing you retire at the end and let the next person go. I’ve had ppl put there card on my machine with less than 1km left in the race on several occasions and I never B*tched once.

In all honesty though I probably wouldn’t have made that big a deal about it but he did something about 15 minutes before that which made me kinda pissed off. So he was racing in another 4 way battle he was in first and the kid to his left was in 2nd with 1 km left when outa no where the guy in 3rd fly’s past the kid and pins Triky into the wall for the win. He then turns to the little kid and says “what the hell why’d you let him pass you you suck“the kid looked like he was going to cry. What a A**hole.

Just use an R33 or R34! And it can kick ze arse of them eevos if driven correctly. LOL

i have both so thes doesn't apply to me
