it depends on the how they tackle the corners or better yet dirty tactics used to gain faster, if you use the principles of racing lines and sometimes they defy the law of physics like aeroplaning (so many stories of that in my corwn blasting runs laugh.gif )

i'll make it pretty short.... their run was quite good thus they run quite fast no matter what

and if you were able to catch up in a certain part of the track due to occasional wall bumps or even crashes that is why you were able to outrun them without any sweat laugh.gif

Yeah, recently, i tried fighting ONINS' Wangan King ghost in BHS, i couldn't intercept his line in the last blue turn, and if i try to get in his lane, the ghost slams me into the barrier.

The older the king ghost and the more people who challenges it, the slower it tends to get.

give or take depends on the skill of the driver to ghost data... a really good one can break the nut on 6-7 days or might be less time if the king was challenged most of the time, however if used a certain bug/glitch or aeroplaning tactics it will be longer

there was a case of a ghost king tho didn't challenged by some card users and stayed up to 5 weeks

ONINS -JZA80- is one tough cookie... he can blast my Wangan king easily... he knows a certain line that can break thru some line one way or another

So yeah... I came... XD

I just transferred these:
Ksuke R35 Spec V (yeah I changed the R35's name... TO LOWERCASE :yaoming: )
M.C. RX-8 (because carbon trunk)
RYO Evo V (Stupid mistake thinking renaming a rename will save your 3DX copy only to lose it in the end as USED and non-backward-compatible)

yet I forgot to transfer the Skura R34 (H.ZAMA) >.<

Then explain how a 1day old king who took all tracks were beaten by me? Will it fall under number of tries to defeat or it's just butt slow?

Also GSP<>T's RX-8 is very stable... that or I lost interest knowing my rename E5 got named and is not backward compatible... T____T

i reckon it was Airport area.... the last 2nd to the last blue left turn uses a near edge grippy turn by blocking to ward off aeroplaning (Singaporean way to glide over opponents)

BHS meant Bonifacio High Street yes?? laugh.gif

Oh wow! Perfect timing PMCD. I'd have to tell you that the R35 Spec V was TOTALLY BUFFED in 3DX+. It took Yokohama like a BAWS when I used my KSUKE R35. AKANE Z34 will be in 3DX btw.

If i could just cut his line in the blue turn, i can win the race, but it's hard if you can't get past him across the 3km line.

I didn't know that the ugly Aero B for the Supra worked well, it's the one i used at the time, very rigid cornering.

in case of 3DX, the reason of Orin's 2 minute crowning glory wherein other players can smite your king knowing your weakness in certain turns unless doing the impossible aeroplaning tactics

in the case of 3DX+ the King's Staying power is better than DX... if you do a good racing line with certain devious trick like going near to the truck to kiss the opponent's car to the backside of the traffic laugh.gif

and Busting a day old kings are one heck of a task in 3DX+ and sometime i feel the DX ones are a bit easier to break the day old kings

day old kings in DX...easy peasy.
day old kings in DX+, goes well, gets rigged, or bad luck? no chance.
You need truel skill and a.i abuse to win in crowns on dx+

ehehehe.. the part in the abuse wherein the ghost who loves to sneak in the edges and do a tactical block and kiss the hi-ace, truck or even a corolla laugh.gif

another abuse is the aeroplaning (slide n' glide as I call it now...) a good well placed tactical aeroplaning can cuss the NBL-kiba veterans (like me...)

HK stylin' on a ghost is a no-no... you will lose speed and probably do a troll remark on you when it outrunned

[ Post merged on Dec 17 2012, 04:51 PM ]
my z34 was finally ranked up to s6 and my GT-R SpecV to B8... i find it funny that the SpecV was harder to drive at C1 and i would've guessed i wasn't that prepared during the outrun laugh.gif

I recommend watching Viaggio Grande as well, also the OVA of Supido no Densetsu V (since you're watching ep 1 and all) biggrin.gif

-----------

Might offset my end-shift time to meet up with a fellow brony for some MT4. He wants to show off his Supra Pie.

Used a friend's personalized supra and did Wangan, C1 and Nagoya runs with it.

It did great on C1, 2"56-7
Wangan 4"06-07 sadly
Nagoya ... failed 08 due to one big tap.

I like supra, they're agile and nimble, but lack weight to drift and turn properly. It's like a super skinny racer, able to run straights but no push-weight ratio to do turns and corners faster or efficient enough compared to a medium built man. sure he got speed, but not the weight and focus.

my RYO E5 was able to sate a "crowning glory"... but it was short lived when I ACCIDENTALLY TRANSFERRED IT TO 3DX+. Then moved it to MT4. XD

------------
To me, though my HIEI JZA80 was once All-crown hodlers in DX THRICE back in GC Australia...

The JZA80's overall performance = RANDOM.
PINKIE PIE = RANDOM.
PINKIE PIE = JZA80.

it all makes sense now.

My parents' Wedding Anniversary gave me the chance to visit SM Megamall, which just had its MT4 machines arrive. And of course, I jumped into it right away.

I'm gonna sum up this journal entry with pictures instead biggrin.gif
