QUOTE (Gunma's 34 @ 6 minutes, 47 seconds ago) | HE COCKED IT UP AND IS ALREADY AT 720 DOWN THE DRAGSTRIP??! HE COULD'VE TAKEN THAT CORNER WITHOUT BRAKING AT ALL!
don't worry Soran, I'll cover this stage too. Like I said, it's from 55 to 60. |
Must've gotten nervous, and he was squeezing through trucks and tapping the walls as a result, which is what made this run look dangerous. It'll be easy if you just relax and keep on the center lane, avoiding cars with just light movement.
And that big mess-up at the New Belt branching, I think he underestimated on how the corner went with the follow through, that corner's deceptively a fast sweeper.

You actually didn't need to brake on that corner, just a short release on the gas followed by a quick turn-in would've done the job. Oh, and the AI acts like a boost on vs battle, when they tap you from behind, you would get a momentary boost.

I was under pressure, that's what it does to you, i was panicking, that's what i hate in story mode. You're about to win, but there is a huge ass red turn that's coming at you.

QUOTE (Antares @ 2 minutes, 57 seconds ago) | Same nostalgia here, I created my blue JZA80 back in SM Mega then, and I've remained loyal to the car ever since |
Well, i was 7 back then, after finishing the card... i lost it... then after a few years, i was about 9 or 10 by then, there it was... the Red JZA80 Supra that i created, my one and only legit card... i treasured it like i would a real car.. Which is one of the reasons i never lost it. I really kept it safe. No matter how much people say about it that "oh it's not TA car omfg why" "lol not bandwagenz", i still love the car no matter what!!

Heh, I was 8 when I started, and I didn't even get my first car to 800, the most I've done with it was 740. The same went with my MT2 JZA80 and Z33. The first legit FT I've done was my MT3 Evo 8, which was destroyed by my magnetic card case when I was still unaware of the dangers it posed. And yeah, the Supra's a pretty special car to me as well, I want to set a good TA time with it even though I could do it faster and easier using my other cards.

The first car I created was in MT2 as well, an RX-8, back in 2009. I had no idea back then that it was a bandwagoned/whored/top-tier car, but I didn't care about those things, I just love this car. Then I decided to make a new one, for the Namco tach. After FT'ing, the data corrupted on a machine. Then I made one again... but it was lost from my card holder. Now I've made the one that I am using today, from scratch (with help from a strip of scotch tape ). I had to make backups just in case, but fortunately nothing has gone wrong since then. BTW I still have the very first MT card I bought: Akio and his Z in the background (albeit burnt at the base while attempting to erase the ink).
