The M.C. / Sakura Challenge is to win beyond 10m. Even if you win the race below 10m; for the Supido no Densetsu [Character name] challenge, it'll still be a defeat.

I dont think mine will be ranking up after i finish the 6 stories or 5 stories. Its the story count that matters. The people who said they leveled up, what was your story count before and after you completed the story mode?

I was on Story 240 when I completed mine.

Wow, that was fast! Does that mean you're gonna transfer it to MT4 soon?

Played 3 rounds of ghost revenge for MT4 but lost all 3 and was left wondering if my skills is on the decline or if the problem lies with the E6.The boost for MT4 ghosts is really insane.Never had anything like that happen to me before.

Was thinking of bringing back my old trusty E3.....But that is probably not a solution either.

The ghost difficulty has definitely increased, as it traces the lines taken by the original run more accurately this time around. I really had a hard time racing against Gunma's M.C. and Skura ghosts on Hakone since they just catch up so fast.

@grimsolace
How do you manage to enjoy playing zero games of MT3DX+? I always felt down when I could've played and not taken the chance.

But do TARO,mix and EAGLE or ZZZZZ still exist in MT4?

I used to plunder the ghost battles with glee in MT3 DX Plus but does not seem to enjoy playing ghost battles after experiencing the human ghosts in MT4.

Unfortunately no, but I sort of have a idea on the computer ghosts in MT4. When you search for level 10 ghosts, you'll see B-ranks among other S-ranks. I'm not sure about this though, but I challenged one B rank ghost on level 10 and left it behind like it was ZZZZZ or other computer ghosts.

I think the default ghosts no longer exist; since they're all piled up with ghosts from other countries. The default ghosts in your rivals who haven't tried the other maps still exist though.

As long as they don't race in that area you challenged them; you can easily score 800m victories against them.

IIRC, the new PC ghosts are the default kings you see in the "Please insert 1 coin to play" screen where it shows cars named after the WM tuners.

The price for a round is double of the cost of a round of MT3 DX Plus right now in SG.So I am quite sore when I lost in ghost battles.

Checked my records.....

Played 12 ghost battles...Lost 10 and just won only 2.

This I agree.

Remember back in 3DX+ when the ghosts/kings like in Wangan suddenly swoop from the far left end of the road, you see them hit a truck/wall and it doesn't phase their speed but if you saw the original, they didn't take that route?

In MT4, it accurately copies where you did everything down to the specific detail; less the boost in case like you got ahead far enough.

@Journal

Just came back from G4 after playing some MT4, my Fukuoka time narrowed down to just less than 400 milliseconds of my original time, but still 3'33.... sad.gif Are EVOs really not TA cars?

There's a way for you to identify a default ghost whenever you choose your opponent (find their name; don't select by level).

I.E. If they take Wangan at 740; chances are they actually played C1/Hakone. Use that to your advantage if you feel you're losing too many games. Take this chance before they even decide to run that map and all their ghosts would be challenging/helluvahard time to deal with.

Oh I see...I can't experiment much cos the price of MT4 is slowly burning a hole in my wallet.Maybe I would have to wait for the price to drop to tinker with the ghost battles.

Seize? Could that be the same as the top ranking TA from HK who has an FD and an RX8?

The SEIZE that is tormenting me is a R32, i just beat it by +6m which is really dangerous, i think there are a lot of SEIZE out there, SEIZE even competed in a 2v2 tourney as i saw in Youtube back then.

I think I should start with choosing my opponents when playing ghost battles and not concentrating too much on revenge ghosts.

I also think my settings is not a problem either.I still used 760 for Osaka and 780 for Nagoya and Fukuoka.I only lowered my power when I am in C1....From 740 to 720.

Osaka's still being whored? Man, that's been too long.

On topic of rankings, my Supra just dropped from 4th to 5th in the Wangan Eastbound car time rankings. I guess it's okay, I still don't know the right TA lines for Wangan after all. On Hakone OB though, I'm still looking to improve my 2'35.026 and finally get into the mid or high 2'34. happy.gif
