QUOTE (Solstice @ 1 hour, 18 minutes ago) | the battle with the R35 was like -5m ok FD, you got this -3m i knew you could do it, just push your rotary a bit more -1m we're almost there, you can do it 0m YES, just overtake him -1m WHAT THE HELL JUST HAPPENED TO MY BOOST |
i tried outrun Ksuke on 2nd retry and yeah the first got me whacked and a humiliating defeat of -10m.... but it was like this: first half of Mirai Minto Yokohama -6 to -10m (I intended to slow myself at start to see how Ksuke's run) After 1st Half of the course -4m: and nearly outrun him and still blocks my usual attack curves After 2/3rd's run +10 to +15m :yeah outrunned time to run like a crazy mada<BLEEP!>er last 5km from +15 to +6m : O_O|| the unholy boost emerges Last 1km from +6 to +8 or +9: Blocks and defending like one crazy maniacal HK gangsta' wanna-be Mental Note: actually side-block tap does give you an extra +2 to +5m adavantage whenever starts bugging you at the back did to Ksuke like 2 - 3 times

QUOTE (Antares @ 8 minutes, 16 seconds ago) | When do you get a champion sticker? After completing a prefecture or after completing all? |
10 Area Block = Entire Prefecture.
Depends on the area, you have to beat certain number of stages to complete the Area Block.
Some Area Block only have 1 stage, while some Area Block have 8 stages to compete.
Here are the list of Area Blocks with number of its stages.
Area 1) Hokkaido region Block = 1 Stage
Area 2) Tohoku region Block = 6 Stages
Area 3) North Kanto region Block = 4 Stages
Area 4) South Kanto region Block = 6 Stages
Area 5) Hokuriku region Block = 4 Stages
Area 6) Tokai-Koshin region Block = 6 Stages
Area 7) Kansai region Block = 6 Stages
Area 8) Chugoku region Block = 5 Stages
Area 9) Shigoku region Block = 4 Stages
Area 10) Kyushu region + Okinawa Block = 8 Stages
Total = 50 Stages

QUOTE (vash944 @ 10 minutes, 53 seconds ago) | One heck of a challenge i guess =/
much like beat the top 5-7 one by one per prefecture right upon entering the japan challenge? |
Everytime when you select the stage, you get to choose opponents from low level to high level.
If you decide to compete against lower level player, you have to beat them TWICE to complete the stage.
However, if you decide to compete against same or higher level players, you only need to beat them ONCE to complete the stage.

I rematched Rotary Tuner's DREW RX-8, best of 3 matches. I won only 2 with a small amount. The first was a bad run though won by 8m, the 2nd one was better and I overtook at the wrong spots. The Third one only had 1 bad hit and won by only 2m. You've been manning Osaka too much, have you? I'm not used to the new Osaka yet :v nor have any plans on mastering it. Too much of a Tokyo/Kanagawa whore XD. But good ghost overall. A clean run and a smooth RX-8 on your end, DREW / Rotary Tuner. Enjoy decimating my R35-V. XD And I noticed something: If your default ghost gets beaten, your opponent is strong for some weird reason. The moment you rematch it, you may have a hard time keeping up or it'll have an extremely aggressive line, not to mention it'll be fast paced. [ Post merged on Jan 1 2013, 08:40 PM ] Also, I updated my Sakura R34 ghost at Hakone; still at 740/D settings. Weird how it fares far smoother than the M.C. RX-8 and I estimated clocked in at 2"33'5XX which is relatively fast despite not FT yet. Sorry Antares but I smoked your Toshiya JZA80 by 35m; highest was 70m.

I only did ghost battle on Osaka once that day against M.C., but yeah, continuous TA helps me with my lines. But dun worry though, I'll challenge M.C. on the proper courses next time. Most likely C1 and Hakone (because I am automatically a weaksauce on new courses ).
