i played for about 2-3 hours straight today (saturday). time was taken up mostly of pvp battles. this guy transfered 2 mt2 cards unshaded. i thought whoa this guy is good. he wanted people to race so i offered after my game. i thought i weren't guna win but it'll be a nice race, get some mileage. didn't expect to beat him every race we did. winner stays on is now on at namco (woot) and so everytime i won, i went to do ghost mode and he'd challenge me again. played alot of pvp games i lost count, won everytime against both his cars. he's got tonnes of stars on both cars as well. either i'm improving or he was racing noobs before.
goes to show i guess that getting an unshaded card doesn't necessarily mean they're a good pvp player (but he had so many stars, i thought i was a goner almost everytime).
but then, he was using an s30z and r34 (i think it was r34, was one of the skylines, both at 820hp) and without dress up parts, where as i was using my evo 9 with dress up parts (including my newly aquired blue neons, and 820hp).
all in all was a good day at namco. troc however later on kinda sucked. i did ghost mode with accept on, ended up in a 3 way, won it (just barely). part that sucked was this uber good dude was one of the otehr 2 player's friend and after i won the 3 way he challenged me 1v1. i lost of course, should of matched his 820/dg on yokohana, i was set to 800/d. sucks that jsut cos i beat his friend doesn't mean he has to jump on and beat me. at least it was a clean race, no ramming or touching. guess i need to get better to become an elite. i mean i'm good but not that good.

Friday: went to chapter 70 with the S15, ran one 600hp ghost battle with the corolla
Saturday: FT S15, watched a friend get C1 King
Sunday: a few PvP races today in the BNR34, some 2 way, soem 4 way, most on yokahama and hakone, won most of them and lost on one 2 way pvp hakone. came back in the afternoon to kill some time (the church of Wangan, no, don't ask..), and came away with C1 King (yeah, after my friend just got it)

Today, I shaded my MT2 R33 card. T_T So what do I do? Start a new one. The old one can now be used for just screwing around at school during my 7 hour gap between classes. Anyways, after losing to the game on my now shaded R33, (I beat the stage immediately afterwards... 'cuz the game took pity on me), some guy sits next to me in the empty machine and says, "It doesn't look like you know how to play this game. You're just passing by luck." 'What the hell? Did he just say that to me?' I had just played a pretty good run, no wall taps or hitting traffic. As The J can tell you, I'm not that bad. Giving the benefit of the doubt, I just tell him, "Well, I'm still learning how to use this R33. Since, I've shaded it I'm going to start a new card." "What's shaded?" he asks. I tell him and blah blah blah. Still a little insulted, I ask if I can challenge him to a battle while I create my new card. 280HP each car, since he no longer has his MT2 card, with boost on because it's more interesting that way. R33 vs Lan Evo on C1 Outbound. Long story short, I won. That's what you get for underestimating a girl. This post has been edited by J^2 on Sep 26 2007, 01:07 AM

Good job darling. You have rightfully owned an ignorant jackass and his star will now glorify your card forevermore.
QUOTE | you shoulda got him with the mase right there. |
Yes.. why didn't you... j/k she's pretty safe considering she points me at whatever she wants to die anyways.
So I guess it's my turn.
My brother and I go to all Amusement last night since I figure it's down to a buck.. no prob. I'll spend 5 bucks here. I battle it out with a guy who looks fairly confident about his Hakone skillz so I decide ok.. no prob. Challenge on Hakone. He sets his car to 680 and I do 760. His fanugurl gf is there and throws her card down on my machine expecting an easy win. I beat him with boost on by over 600 meters. So having been emasculated they both leave. My bro battles me a bit while I give him advice on how to set up his car and how to drive. I start revenging my ghosts. Only 3 people had beaten me in over a month of being gone... Dissapointing but I revenge them anyway. Along the way a guy who drives 800hp on the c1 races me and loses by over a kilometer... and a guy who was Wangan King races me and... loses by over 300m. My brother battles me a few more times and a few more people decide they want to lose. I still had a buck left after all that so I did Wangan King and won by over 100m! WTF? This is why I rarely go anymore... and so having re-re devastated All Amusement... exit our villain stage right.
