today was pretty interesting, i had my first 4 player battle on MT3 at sfsu. 3 of my friends and a random guy that bought in (because my newb friend didnt understand what pushing the red button meant). It was

Bunny/FC3S/580HP - Me
Hippo/FD/720HP - My friend
G/R32/280HP - My friend
Devil/S30/740HP - Random guy

We raced on C1 outward then new belt and then C1 inward.... i believe i dont really remember. i just remember my adrenaline rushing...

so we started the FD took the lead then i came in second then the devil in 3rd then as we went on i like tapped the walls and made really stupid mistakes... then i eventually lose my cool and the FD & S30 just left me in the dust with the R32. I managed to regain some ground but i still lost pretty badly 300+ meters, even with boost.

But i had fun and i rechallenged my friend in the FD on yoko then on hakone i raced him and lost by like 25 meters, which kinda depressed me because i wanted a star!

otherwise i finally moved to the A+ class so basically stage 16. which im happy about its pretty easy i must say.

I had my MT fix for a while i need to save some money now for my next fix.

Had a game with my friend last night. We were levelling-up my R34s for about an hour at Worlds of Fun when one by one the lights of the arcade started to turn off. We decided to call it a night and after my card was rejected I asked the attendant who was waiting for us to eject the 2 extra coins I still had in the machine another attendant suddenly turned off the main power switch to the machines! I asked the attendant if I could still get those tokens and they just said that they had no refund policy.

D#&$! They turned off the machine on me and they have the freaggin' nerve to tell me about their no refund policy! I was asking for my tokens to be ejected, not a refund!

Good thing I wasn't in a bad mood and just let it pass. Good thing also that the game was cheap, just 12 Pesos, hehe..

yeah let it go.. 2 tokens is nothing....

its good that u didn't trash ur card... IIRC, when some1 pulls the power out while the card is in/playing, u'l lose ur card...

So last night I ninja visited Super Arcade. Revenged all the people who beat my ghosts and then renewed my card (Makoto for the 9th time. Yes... 9th time- I joke not). Guy with a feaux 7Nite dupe transfer was there and Snow*. I managed to beat them heavily on all courses except Hakone. I tried Metro TA again. 12.24... 2 seconds from my best time and that was with like a dozen wall taps. Strange considering my 22 time I didn't hit walls at all. Hmm must use the data I gathered from the super aggressive run I did while hitting walls and combine it with the information from the super cautious one with no walls.

Got a race with one of the locals few days back. He always shows up in pyramid almost everyday. Goes by the name of NaRa... using a FC (recently seen with a new FD). Raced in hakone. At first it was a fun clean race. Until he started to play dirty and bang me hard on the wall... After that precise moment, i turned the whole race to hell. I bang his car so many times. I've seen em jump up due to the hard impact from my car. And everytime he wanna pass me, i'll block him to the point his car loses speed badly. And i surely do uses those tight u-turns to make good use of him as a "pillow" to soften the blow to the wall at high-speed cornering.

After that race, i was smiling like hell. Felt good in bashing up ur opponent's car when he played dirty. I think my aura went to red straight after the race

got a revenge from a black R32 who defeated my girls car.. he defeted me at hakone..

oh man.. it was difficult to maintain a clean line because his ghost kept ramming me while im at my perfect line. his ghost was like always flying and always off the line so i ended up being butchered in corners. but i got through it. and i really love how my R33 slide at the round about corner at 780hp/D settings.. i love it when i feather the gas and maintain a clean line and maintain speed. i just love my R33.

edit: had a discard trade with old skool SR last night as well. hehe. i traded my R33 discard for a R2 discard. and i also transferred my chaser from wangan 1>2. i love the body kit. VIP style hehe.

opps, sorry, i'm new here. Still very new in this game, play for two weeks only. I seldom battle wif others, as i dun have much spare $$$ to keep on "stashing" the machine wif my LIMITED resources. haha The $2 per credit is whacking me way too hard on my wallet.

u'll know me anyway, i don't quite "socialize" there, hehe. i got an ugly purple color car.

So, how long have u been playing this game? years? Hmm... u beating those Kings, good for u. U seem knowing every corner's optimum speed in the game. Haiz, for me i just rely on the sign whenever it "shows up", guess that i'm too used to play those rally car games. I just can't seem to remember well those corners, haha! Sorry just can't help it, i'm still TOO NEW to this game.

My last game was quite interesting...It's 4 way race in Osaka for one...
All are fully tuned 820/dg cars...

Most of the time i was out front but due to a traffic HiAce at a corner exit that i failed to anticipate i lost the lead to the E3...he kept holding on to the lead till the very last Red corner where he screwed up but braking too late and had to take the outside line...I took the inside as close to the wall as possible (i was seeing sparks on the front bumper but i'm not slowing down LOL ) and i took my lead back at 250 meters before the finish line...

I can even hear the guy shouting WTF at the opposite cabinet...

Got my aura today, it's purple right now.

My card reads 5001km, would've been neat to have it at 5000.

So that's:

I'm debating over whether to do outrun or not. I wish it would carry over to MT4 but it probably won't.

Renewal #5 today, so I'm on card 6.

I randomly decided to race my FD that I don't use anymore and got the mileage to 1227... not quite 1337...

I visited AI on Saturday. Didn't do too well since I was upset over something. My girl and I were just tuning our team cards. I won like 6 stars off E28 and Aero*s but I really didn't bring my A game. If the Aero guys are reading this- you guys play a tough game. I'm looking forward to seeing you again when I'm in better shape.

I haven't played in....3 days.....and I'm ITCHING to play. I wish there were machines within a 40min drive of me.

I think I've decided to do outruns....I don't know why...it's just something to do. That or I'll try for ghost vs. lv10, finishing either task will incorporate around the same number of races for me as it is.

i heard that playing the ghost's driving is inaccurate compared to battling its owners in person.
i didnt realize HOW inaccurate until i raced my friends a whole letter-grade higher than mine (i was beating ghosts of their level, with no problem). i got royally pwned by about 200+ in hakone

if only i had my FC....... *wistful sigh*
in the mean time, i enjoy leveling up my 180

My last visit to the arcade consisted of me leveling up my HiAce and beating every ghost at whatever level I was at.

I just want everyone to see that a giant van beat their car .

And then they will start revenging me and it will make dress up leveling easier.

I finally got to play about 2 hours of Max 3 at the Super Arcade and it was fun. Just did ghost runs and some battles. Got first place in a three-way on Osaka against someone named L33T and his friend. I finally have 10 stars on my card. I also got to see a HiAce in action. That was interesting and odd in some ways. Met RemieGino and his friend, who showed me his Initial D card with Max Tune data on it.

Thanks a lot for getting me back to school. I got there just in time for the quiz. Quite literally just in time. As soon as I pulled out my binder, the teacher said, "Okay, question number one." So again, thanks, I greatly appreciate the ride, especially since we just met. Hope your gf got the math problem, too. How'd that go, btw?

Today got some battles in....
And set some new TA's on the machines on hakone. (still have MT2)

I want to play so bad!!!! Oh well it's a long weekend this week. which means I get to play extra long. BTW. What does the outrun mode actually get you? What do you get from it?

I think you're talking about WMMT-2 here... Im not really sure, i haven't played that game mode for quite long now... but if im not mistaken its one of the ways to increase your rank(?) hey guys is this correct?

That's basically all it does.

Clear all 10 levels on a perticular course with an S rank, and go up a level. This is how it is in MT3 anyway, can't remember MT2's grading system.

OH, I'm going to Pacific Thursday for some MT3 goodness! I'm so anxious.

Oh sure np, glad to help a fellow WMMT player. Unfortunately enough, my gf was still struggling and yeah... I wished I was at her level as well (I mean...Geometry VS Calculus BC... >.<)

Anyways you gonna head for A.I nights on Friday? I wanna see the bigs crowds like I used too.

I can't come on Fridays because I have work in Downtown LA. I also work on Saturdays. We usually head to AI on Sundays when we can. Crowd's not as big as the Friday/Saturday ones, but the top tier players are there.

EDITED: There this guy that came into the arcade and said Initial D is better than Maximum Tune, fyi.
