Had a few battles in the previous 3w -- a few Hakone, buncha C1-NBL, some Yoko and Fukuoka, maybe 2 Osaka.

The Hakone ones, being my worst course by far, were pretty crappy wins. No ramfest from me, but the occasional pinballing...OMFG. By crappy, it mostly involved topping at 4th gear , "floating" on 3rd, and a few powerslides.


Gonna revert my Z33 back to my DX setup -- right now, it's purple silver, and looking funky in a not-good way.
As for my E9s, the white one's gonna go orange w/ white flame 4; the silver one I'm gonna stealth it out, details still pending. Damn I need pics of 'em all...

Not much battles apart from hearing the machines and checking and saw 3 guests and they jumped out and yelled
WE DUNNE WANNE PLAY WIF YOU! and i just ignored them.

got 33'370 in nbl cw..... gotta use 760hp I guess...... so slow in the straights......

which one is harder nbl cw or ccw?

I find ccw more difficult especially because of the C1 section and I usually go full throttle on this one at 760 HP/B

Because of the way the map is set up, I say that if you get at least 3'35 on CCW (DX+), then you are at least good enough for the map.

Also, yeah, I also use 760 HP/B for NBL CW (even if others are telling me to use 780 HP/D or 800 HP/D). I figured that even if all you're gunning for is a '32, then 760 HP/B should suffice for that map.

I'm staying away from Time Attack until I FT my 3 other cars; and I can only do that when I take a train to Brisbane (where the games are a 1:$1 basis, rather than here which is a 1:$2 basis)

I'll try to confirm blackcyborg009's theory on 760 vs 780 when I do so.

How do you take the Edobashi hairpin on C1 Inner? What gear? what average speed through the corner and how? My time was good from the Kandabashi chicane to Tokyo Tower until that corner came when I did a C1 run with my RX-8; I was doing well until the Edobashi branching; I think I lost 2-3 seconds from the top time there; I got through 3 sections with the red flash also...

lol yea hard I always screw up on the C1 section, the first section is relatively easy but once u get to C1 its gg for me.

You think that's godlike? I'll tell ya that back in the DX days, people were using 825 HP/DG on NBL CW time attack (the 22+ km version). It was insane cause the belief was that full power will allow faster time on the straights.........which makes up the loss of time in CP3 (where the C1 section is).

For me, well fine..........but I still stuck with 800 HP/D. At that time, all I was looking for was a 4'34...........and for me, 800 HP/D was all that was needed.

Heck, the fastest record for DX Time attack using 800 HP/D was a 4'32'89x which was quite fast IMHO.

Reached DU level 57.

Otherwise it was a meh day. I wasn't able to improve my Nagoya TA, and I only improved my Yokohane TA by .1 of a second (3'00'517). The yellow turns in CP1 and CP2 ALWAYS throw me off for some reason. :\

Managed to complete 10 Outrun for my RX-8, so it's A9.

But danm, I had to wait for 3 hours to play at the only working machine there.

All stuff in this post happened only yesterday lul.

Played my R33 until it needs renewal. PINK R33, f**k YEAH. After a 2 week hiatus I got to play again but I'm crap as usual. Always get left behind. The only chance was a sweeping pass somewhere in Fukuoka Everything was a tag team match though, my R33 was able to turn the tables but not taht much though.

Was recruited into another team, which apparently was most teams combined. Picked the Evo 8 as my team car but I shoulda got something more interesting, oh well. The whole team has a thing for Evos though and Evo 8's are starting to be an eyesore.

danng... how can i be as fast as you?? my best at NBL CCW is around 3:36:1xx using 740HP, i still kinda scared to use 760HP, cuz usually i will screw up real bad at the C1 section... guess have to practice more (i just started playing this game T_T)

today my friend gave me his R34 present card, already renewed and still in 30th story... gotta make it at least 820HP/80 story and going to pickup some maxi coins (dressup the car )

I don't know why, but my TA hakone time is getting slower and slower.
Went from 4:37 to 4:39 - -; (DX times)
Oddly enough, my battle lines in hakone are not too shabby.
And I feel like I've gotten better in battling (simply just by not going all out in turns and just sliding in, more like following TA lines so I don't lose a lot of speed) and I'll try to be the tactician director for the team.

Just practice... My NBL-CCW TA averages on lower 3'35'xxx using 740/hp. Sometimes I get to reach 3'34 but its mostly a lucky strike. A friend of mine was able to push it to around 3'34 on the average at the same setting.

Oddly enough, I end up with higher 3'35 to 3'36 whenever I use 760/hp...

And yes, my TAs are slow as hell...

I tested the Z33 I got from weirdo808hi, and by god it was Godlike! I took out a King on my 2nd play (1st play with some other ghost to familiarize the car's feel) with a 150m gap. Then I redressed it up, took out the neon; placed the works sticker and beat myself thrice with each run faster than the other!! O_O

i used to think that if i can reach 3'36'xxx it is consider good (heck, i was at number 2 with that 3'36'1xx record, cuz no one like NBL TA here ), but seeing you guys here can score 3'34'xxx and even lower is really impressive

740HP to me is really good for NBL CCW, it helps me control the car better (especially at C1 section) but you have to struggle mainly at the end (when rejoining Wangan) because of not enough speed...

Relax... no need to pressure yourself... just practice and you'll get better... truth be told, the only TA runs that I have that can be considered at least "half-decent" are C1-OB and NBL-CCW...

And I do TAs mostly to
1) get some rust out of me from time to time..
2) familiarize myself with whatever tracks are there (back in my noober than noob days).

then this cocky kid came along and started talking shit about my SPW rename to his gang. I told my friend to get off the seat and gave the kid a chance to play.

first map, osaka
no real surprise, he can catch up in straight but shits everywhere else. with the battle ending at the right turn after a jump, he plowed into the wall and i passed the finish line with 300m adv

second map, nagoya (his best map he said *go figure, n00bs these days*)
he crashed into a truck with 1k left. his excuse was that he wasn't paying attention (little did he know I shifted the truck while he was trying to wall pass it lol).

third map, hakone inbound
I turned his car into a crepe. need I say more? lol

last map, hakone outbound(again because he protested me on ramming last round *boost on*)
I left him for dead. from the last round I know he's sucks on hakone. eventually, we crashed after I went round the turnabout in before the finish line.

I had a good moment laughing at him when he took his card out (10k SS class) and walked his "Walk of Shame" xD

i don't really being pressured with those awesome record, in fact it makes me really motivated to practice more
