QUOTE (hanzel2m @ 4 hours, 21 minutes ago) | not today, but 2 weeks ago, played, and realised, dayum, the excitement is just not there anymore. so I decided to retire
I must say I'm happy to be able to finally retire, I thought this game is gonna drain my money forever D: did not feel any regret wasting all that money, its definitely a good game.
will most likely play again when MT4 comes out XD |
I retired after I full tune my taxi in hk last month, now I'm just working canton & I'm not gonna bother to look for mt

After being away for 12 days... I went back to spectate battles during my work break... I was disgusted with the many noobs with Full tuned cards they have... swearing at each other, doing 3 on 1's... and which actually made me laugh inside - me ultimo ragers.
One who had a renamed R34 raged intensely after losing at Osaka; I believe that's his practice course. He placed last, raged hard, stood up as if he needs to go to the toilet and I think ranted to himself.
When I got fed up of watching noobs race and beat each other... I took out some change; luckily I found $2 on my pocket, loaded up, and challenged 2 of them... (the noob team that is to be described some other time, already left)
I saw them run hakone and how poor their run was; hence I chose Hakone when I raced them. I obliterated them by 600 meters. And they were all 820 already. If I recall correctly, my 1-way run (half of the time attack) down Hakone was 2'35 on that battle race - inbound. Dunno if it's good enough.
Used my free game on a simple ghost battle and left like a boss. They played again but didn't challenge me on the 2nd one. I didn't say anything. I hope to race that other team though (their leader per se was using an Aero A, GT-winged Z33)
Once I get my cards to 825, I'm retiring as well and sell my cards as merchandise for my series.

QUOTE (Riou @ 39 minutes, 12 seconds ago) | 1. that Fukuoka is done on 825 HP (notice top speed? lol) 2. What High gear trick? lolz
and, no it's not a Legacy.
@GT, what's annoying about battling people with bad line is they will slam into you when you make the roundabout in hakone |
IT WAS A LEGACY I SWE- oh. You can do Fukuoka in the 700-740 range. It seems that the more grip you have, the better your car will take corners. Even if they're long, sweeping ones. The "high gear trick" works best on a few corners though, especially the long right one after one of the "semi-circle" turns and the part before the chicane which is after the hairpin (which is after the straight which is after the really banked corner). So much for being overly descriptive Anyway I noticed that attacking some of the corners in the highest gear possible (5th gear in your case, since that car only has 5 gears) would make your car "stick" to the racing line instead of letting it slide off to the outside. Trust me, when used at the right corners, it will do wonders.
