Well i'm a little late but....

I used to hate renames. I refused to own or drive one. But now i just don't give a f**k. I know i have skill in the game so whether i use a legit card or a rename doesnt bother me because i am actually performing well and i know i am not one of those posers with renames.

As for me, playing with renames is fine, but i do like to tune my own cards just because ......well just because i can. I would still use a rename if i really wasnt bother tuning a car.

Most of the worlds best players use renames. Does that mean theyre shit or anything? No, it just means they use renames.

At the end of the day, it's just a card no one really gives a f**k about. You can say you spent X amount on it, but does that really change anything? No, so get the f**k over it.

Renames are not what bother me, it's the people who drive them and show them off saying it's legit and not having any skills at all.

BACK ON TOPIC.

I played MT today against two of my mates. I was in first place and about to and the third place person was really far behind so i decided to park block the person in second and let third win. Was pretty funny I wouldnt have done that if i didnt have to go and catch a bus. But oh well, it was fun.

Let us all act as if this discussion about renames & legit/from-scratch cards never occured in this thread.

Reminds me of my friend who borrowed my RX-8 and faced this GUEST car, giving almost 5 KM worth of gap, trash talked all the way and make me lose a star, boost on despite that fact. (P.S. it was a 1 on 1 at NBL)

My last game was yesterday's.

But oh well, just cleared Story Chapter 10 and managed to boost my Z30 up to 450 HP.

I wonder how long a course can there be in this game...? I saw a few with over 20 km...(which was indeed, quite long. )

there are even some way beyond 30.
not sure but maxi 2 had one almost 60kms long.

Erm... If i remember correctly on MT3, one of the time attack stages was 60km+ but haven't played for too long!!

I think you all are referring to stage 80 on Maxi 2 vs Akio, Blackbird & Kijima.

start at New Belt line, go around C1 and finish off at New Belt line after Ooi U-turn.
Total IS 60 km.

and @obby is referring to the Tokyo Metropolitan TA route 56. something KM.

@Rin, what version of Maxi are you playing? and I think you mean S30Z. There's no Z30, unless it's the Z31.

I just started a silver CP9A today cos I lost my lost my one and only car CE9A.Going to accelerate the tuning process cos MT4 is coming out soon.Planning to tune 20 rounds per week.In that way,I can FT the CP9A before end of December.The attendant at my local arcade said MT4 is most likely coming out in Singapore next year.Most importantly,FT my CP9A first and I plan just to slap on the level 4 carbon bonnet and RAYS Gamer rims.The rest I leave it as stock although I am tempted to change to TME aero kit.I am just worried that the TME kit will kill my accel.

Better to Try and Error and Knowledge than never do and never know it.
For example i took out my neons and my car was more responsive and slidy, sooo much to the point that it happened to be more easier for me to block and attack with.

Stayed up 20 hours ago and played 30 games of mt with the regulars. Hot damn my final and ultimate set up is perfected, its a heavy ass kpgc10 old skyline now...in black. without neons. Dear god, i can push virtually anything now. For an FR car its f**ken tank.

Then i went home for a nap, and walked at 3am to petrol station for internet prepaid recharge.

I always left my Evo's body as stock as I feel they handle well.Same for my previous Evo(E3).So most likely,my E6's body will be stock.So whose body is stronger?Your 1970 Skyline or my E6?

Rare! E6 i never vsed at all. It would be better to settle if we closeby but sadly, i wouldn't know.

I'm still in shock how come my car's soo heavy now. but also fast and responsive. It must be timing priority

Hmm...My E6 is a tank,your car is a tank too.Hard to tell who can push who.Never mind...Wish you lots of great fun with your retro car.Love the silver color on my E6.I watched the E6 vs E9 by Top Gear on Youtube just now and was quite amazed that the E6 could beat the E9 by a quarter second in the time attack.Hurray for the E6!

you did good though when you're ramming i think you assumed i would keep in the same spot, thats when i saw you turn full speed and fly past me hahah. those guys at timezone then i vs'd just were sore losers i reckon lol. i put $10 on my card and played at timezone a bit after (because nobody was playing mt at galaxyworld and i didnt have my battlegear keys) there was a group of 3 guys playing there so that was alright, 4th in 370Z (literally overtaken in last corner) and 2nd in R32 lol.

Wolky and GEE arrived at gstz and we all battled so long, i won about half of my 18 games.

I managed to push wolky and gee and played extra, kenzz styles.

The battle with you was a warm up, so of course i lost i got so goooooooood now. i changed my set up and it managed to be very prooo.

I just tuned my E6 from Chapter 2 to 41 today.It was a little tiring cos I played for 39 rounds straight and my machine kept having errors.Had to get the attendants to restart it several times.I plan to tune another 20 stories up to Chapter 60 tomorrow and get my 815bhp.Had some close shaves in Story Mode cos I nearly lost in one of the chapters.Kuroki in his R33 knocked a Hiace in my path as he was speeding away in Chapter 39 on Wangan before blowing his engine.I was thus slowed down.Managed to overtake Akio and Reina in the last 1km.Nearly lost.....Phew.

why dun u just buy a e6 its way cheaper then tuning one from scratch

Kids these day are rich , they like to picking up some mass rename, makes me gaining 7 star in 3 battles , after losing 3 times, the kids are running to the exit gates

@Kyoko, I think you're referring to stage 40. Stage 39 is where you face Akio & BlackBird up Wangan to Daikoku. Stage 40 is where you face Reina, Kuroki & Akio (which I believe is the most badass & emotional story arc of the entire series)

Whew...today just had a blast. With some in-store battles along.

Now I am only 1 chapter away from Chapter 20, and pushed my S30Z to 600HP. Not too bad a day, I suppose. xD

Since I lost one time on the story mode when I just got rammed towards a yellow van by Blackbird's Z on Chapter 15... (but dang...the sudden entrance of Blackbird with the Black Pressure BGM playing sure made my blood boil...so this is how exciting this game can be...)

Btw, Gunma 34, you've read the post on that story thread of yours, right? Mind if you reply? (if that's not too much trouble) Because depending on your answer, I might PM you with something about what I had in mind for that project of yours, or I could just edit that post of mine with the details on it, if that works better for you. =)

Got lv. 58 or 59 DU and changed my SVX's Shotguns to RAYS Sebring EXs. They look really nice.

@Rin - depends on you if you wanna include a new character or not. Right now I am working on Viaggio Grande (set at Hawaii) You can put your suggestion if you want. I can wait.
