That machine has always had reoccurring problems with steering.
And if you see a guy with a card named MARKY driving a 300zx then you can probably blame him for any gearbox problems, guy slams the hell out of the gear-shifter >_>

Nah it's not an official timezone one, just a small one they're doing in store. I've seen MARKY...... honestly I wonder how he drives in real life...not like it makes a difference at all shifting like a psychopath. There's a guy who plays initial d..... when he plays... THE ENTIRE ARCADE BOX SHAKES!!! and he sucks as well. Mite as well attack it with a sledgehammer the way he plays. I'm getting bored with it now. Got more important games to worry about (ITG). Everyone bullies the FD just cos it's better :-P

yeah I guess so, but I can't think of any other racing games I've liked besides maybe NFS Underground 1. Couldn't care less about driving or cars until I played this game , hope they make a Maxi 4 soon, with more awesome trance beats. but anyways no chance of winning the competition with ppl doing 40k mileage..... I'll probably get beaten first round by Kart :'( bwahah

I meant is it being hosted by the staff of Timezone on Queen Street? Or is just like... some d00dz who play there decide to host some crap....
$50 credit for 1st place seems hardly worth it, but then I guess you don't pay anything so hmm....
Not worth traveling there for, for me. Haha so I probably won't go unless I'm really bored and friend nags me.

It's simple, MARKY probably drives a auto and slams the hell out of that too.

Being hosted by the staff. Thinking of doing one every month depending on how good this goes.... Unless the specs change eg best of each make I'll never win anything anyway.

With the FD... I didn't choose because of KT. Always loved it before I even watched /heard of initial d, which was this year....... Pretty much I love cars which look good drifting... hence the 350z /FD. S15's are nice too but other two definitely my favourite, in that order. Decided on KSUKI just for the name and the fact he drives an FD. Not so I can pretend I really am him, cos I suck on Hakone .

Also as I'm a big fan of racing games, I find it annoying how there's always a best car (except in GT), and its always a skyline/subaru/evo. They may be the best but take away most of the fun. Plus they're ugly to me. Using a 'worse' car is waaaaay more fun. Plus it' makes it better when you beat them

And that explains the color scheme of your FD too eh? Haha.

Yeah I do not like to use what many people consider as 'best'. Purely because I like to be different. Although in the case of MaxTune... I chose the S15 because it was my favourite car at the time and I was planning to buy one this year anyway.
The Evo's do look ugly in my opinion and the Rx7 is alright, although I have to say that I am a fan of the R32 and I would use one... regardless of it's performance.
But I'm too lazy to tune my R32 =)

As for the tournament.... Yeah I'd never win either, if I go Timezone then I am most likely with my friend... and if I'm with him... He'll win. Haha~

Lol... I concede there.. did choose the colour cos of that but that's it. Favourite is dark red, not the light red ones they offered. Hence I got a dark red Z33 Yay for being lazy!

;-) I might consider reverting dressup back to complete stock package... it looks so cool even as stock... as you can see in this picture I took last night on Queen Street

Heh. I used to like that car.... Now I dislike any car with a aerial. x_x

now it has problem with sound, its super loud and distorted, and MARKY was there again today and ...... see what you mean!

Hello people, I just joined this forum looking for more people to play wangan with in city on saturdays... This forum hasen't been posted for ages = =;.. So I won't expect much...

Ohh.. All the pros like DK and stuff left yi fan ages ago.. I thought wangan was lost =0=; Na joking. Is the Z a good car? the only ones on the international leader boards are evo8's mr2's gtr's and s30's..well least most popular. Z? is it good? I mean the Z isen't the real black bird gembralla but is it as good as it seems???

p.s when is next torm, I swear I can smell star's comming for my car.

It's all I've ever really driven, besides 2 races with an rx7 and impreza. Despite my efforts I don't seem to be able to keep up with the evo's in it lol... but only a bad driver blames his car.

It's just a bit too unstable. great for wangan but thats a pretty boring track cos its a straight line pretty much!

Ahh ever thought about getting a gembralla? There are none that iv seen in new zealand ever and you could be the first if you can get you'r hands on one ><

All I got is evo and I want a new car now = = its' getting realllly boring.... just gain stars and stuff but.. what else can i do? I can't be bothered tuning another car cause I don't have that much cash... Unlike in hk where you get to play around6 games more then you get for 2 $nz dollars.

Yea I know but you could use it internationally in wmmt2 if you got a single copy from jap...< SIGh.. have to wait then...

Mainly cuz the FC is one hard car to drive or master...
It has really slow acceleration...slower than the FD and RX-8...
Bad top speed...Slides like a mofo
Though in the hands of a true FC drive it's a beast...
Main advantages are cornering ability and small size...
Enough said...

=0= 10 min drive? laow wangan style XD sounds like a really bumpy ride... Holiday for you uni ppl >< I'm in collage no holiday for me T_T but race you any time ^&^
