QUOTE (=}Pyro{= @ 5 minutes, 38 seconds ago) | If rank gives makes you faster.. there's a logical reason why this is false.
Higher rank = more battles/ghost = more racing = more money and time spent. If I'm living in the current world and correct universe and time dimension, spending a lot of time doing the same thing makes you get better (aka practice).
This is why NORMALLY the difference between two people starting from scratch with no prior experience can be seen by rank: YGR better than all of us (it's true....). They've played more. We're better than people who have just started and finished story.
Fakes suck since they perceive they're good because of high rank on "their" car/s which is a psychological phenomenon called the Placebo effect. Simply because the car has a high rank, they expect it to be faster than the same car with a lower rank, not taking into account that it's their skill level. At the end of the day it's all down to the driver.
If you give a fake a SSS car which isn't FT'd and tell them to blind race (that is no idea except the make/model), I bet $10 they'll say it's faster than the same car at B9 FT'd.
Anyway... I'm never ready! depends on the day really. Though I have been playing a little since I've had a break which is better than nothing. |
If the person holds a SSS Rename, but sucks at driving, then it obvious they will fail in a blindfolded race, compared to a legit SSS Car that can be done. Anyone who drives a legit SSS Car will always win, whether they are blindfolded or not.
