i'm playing ghosts now most of the time...since that 68 will get me to a level 10 ghost as well anyway... lol. thing is, i only battle now, then ghost if i win. sigh. slow going |

well good luck with it. And also if you are doing Ghost Vs all the time, you can tune your car when you think it needs tuning. Unless you are really happy with all the settings you got on it.

I can relate to the whole "people not wanting to challenge" you think. It gets very annoying.
I am tired of story mode grinding (takes alot of money as well) and I want to actually race A PERSON. Because that way you can test your skills against something that matters, and you get kewl little stars. People won't even race me when they have a higher rank than me! Its rediculous. The only time I get to race someone is when a noob accidentally challenges me. I would challenge noobs but I would just feel like a person in the "jerks in maximum tune" thread. |

hmm....seems like my goal for now is S9 only lol I'm not planning to hit SSS (SSS = $$$)
And usually ppl choose not to continue after u beat them once... After they take out the card, they put in a credit again(if no one is following), BUT this time they choose "Refuse VS" and do something else....  ***One day (back in MT2) I saw a guy doing 10 outrun (w/ VS on). So I challenge him and won the race with 100m+ adv.(boost off). Then when I saw him again on the next day, he quickly hit the red button while doing story mode.....He was like "I'm not racing u anymore"..... |

I am recounting from 0 stars. I recounted everything for each check mark, for example, although I have 400+ ghost already for the two week goal, I am recounting from 0 ghosts for the two months goal hence '1000 Ghost Wins B3 ----> A4' Today didn't really play much, only got like 20 ghost + stories done but 60 stars is not too bad....
