as in my siggie;

Farenheit 88

2nd location will be Berjaya Times Square.

occasionally I will be at One Utama.

One Utama eh? A old friend of mine usually goes there for MT4~ Name's DEUSS - R34~ But he don't always go. Sometimes he'll go in the weekends~

How's the quality of the machines in 1U Cobay? My friend said its good~ :3

Mind yall post which arcade yall usually go? I might meet with yall in one of the arcades~ I only play at Sunway Pyramid. But I'm not from KL, so I only might play like less than 60 games a year... :'( But I'm form 5 this year. So I might go KL to study or AUS after my SPM. And of course, depends on how good are my results first. :/

Dang didn't really took much notice bout this...mainly was because pretty much surprised on Fahrenheit 88 having a video arcade...

For me I pretty much visit most of the arcades around KL & S' gor...been to BTS...Sg. Wang...Mid Valley...Tropicana...Pyramid...but my 'home' arcade would be Summit USJ...since it's near my house...and the very place I bought my Passport...

OFF TOPIC: GE13 coming soon...sudah daftar untuk undi? Lawl

one U ah... So far, 4 out of 8 machines has their LCD replaced... whistling.gif whistling.gif

But being Cobay, the machines is well maintained, but minor wear and tear is more apparent now such as loosen gear shifters, uneven weight of the steering wheel (some machines)...

Bro how's the arcade at Fahrenheit 88? Do they use token cards or actual tokens...think I'll pay a visit there someday...

token card.

They have promo, something like buy 100 credits free 30 credits.

The free credits cannot be used on WM4, but can be used in MT3, so you can do shits in MT3 with the free tokens.

Token card? Aiya...leceh la wan to keep this stuff...at least my arcade in Summit USJ still can use tokens for 3DX+...better still I just go to BTS (still use tokens entirely...no need card nonsense lol...but anyway no diff for me since now I only focus on WMMT 4...I don't really play the other arcade games that much)

Downside of token card however: Potential to get snapped/magnetic damage...so if you were to load tons of credits in there it's all gone in an instant...the next thing you know you'll be sobbing uncontrollably...

Tokens at least can tahan...basically more or less just like a coin (I don't mind carrying bags of tokens...but everyone is entitled to their own opinion anyway)

CP is a well established arcade company. Their token card system is using RFID chip, like Touch n'Go cards.

and even if the card is damaged, the server will still have info on the card's last credit balance.

Guess I'll go buy back the token card at my arcade then...at least I could play some other arcade games I want e.g. Time Crisis lol whistling.gif

Nope. Its almost the same as Cobay. Just that they're being cheap for not installing token card systems on their machines? :/ And I still remember that the Pyramid CYC's MT3DX+ 5 out of 8 machines that only working. -.- I think they didn't even want to repair those machines at all. ==

They hold the majority percentage of the market share in Genting Highland arcade. Every 10 machines in Genting Highland arcade, more than half of the amount is owned by CP.
