As someone who started with 6-gear cars and moved on to 5-gear, I think it's good to learn both. Not too hard overall, and after a while the transition is easy. ^^

You can get some great lines with auto. I had a bad shifter today and went auto, and my lines got better. :3 But the reason why I prefer manual is because of the amount of versitility it brings. The same level of adjustment when recovering/battling is quite difficulty to do with auto, so I think. ^^

Although, you'll be happy to hear that auto brought me 8 stars today... with BUNNY! >D My auto driving school soccer-mom-mobile schooled a group of mid-B rankers looking for a fish on my C2 car. Suckers. :3

I don't really find the 6 gears hard XD I just kinda like 5 more than 6. You can call it some kind of preference? XD Auo is fine and all. I just got so used with manual XD

The R33 KICKS ALL THE GTR'S ASS! In terms of size and power and accel, it is probs better than all of them... Shame its so big it blocks the whole road, but good plan if you are a demon blocker!

I love my r33 and so does my gf... Its in her name, but boy do people mistake her as a noob...

wow is it really that good??? hmm let me try making one again

changing from 5 gears to 6 gears or vice versa is pretty much not that hard.its just a matter of getting use to.from my experiences if you use a 6 gear car and you change to a 5 gear car.you only have to shift a little more late than your normal shifting in a 6 gear car

But 6 is technically better. More shifting points, so more control. Technically.

^- True. I find my Z34 at times easier to use because I only go 6-5 and sometimes go 4 XD unlike in my FD where I have to always slant my shifting from 5-4 XD

It's all good... I still prefer 6 gears but 5 gear cars don't really make a difference to me on my r33.

It is, but at times I find myself liking the arrangement of 5 more for certain turns. ^^

Well, i guess that is true because for every slight bump you have to shift down, unlike 6 speed cars you can take a little bump but 5th/6th gear should be sufficient...

Well, you shouldn't...

Cause in a 5 gear car, the gear ratio is higher, so the acceleration will still be there, you don't need to shift down as much.

S15 is a pretty damn good car, in MT (and RL).

I thought the s15 wasn't that bad at petrol consumption, unless you modded it for drifting hence high revs and lots of petrol going in, but unmodded, i thought it was pretty good for mileage per tank... I may be wrong. Someone pls find out?

Maintenance cost i have no idea.

The SR20 engine is pretty simple, so I don't think maintaining it will be all that hard.
