You can't ever get anything as equally balanced as an all stock setup.
Plus, it's f**king sexy.

Agreed. It looks neat (all stock 100%).
However, it does feel weird. I mean, even with Aero C and straight wing with aero mirrors, the turning ability of this thing makes me puzzled. Heck, I can say that the steering response of my Corolla is more lenient compared to the Z34. Especially in that crazy suicidal red turn in Osaka, I definitely observed that even at 720 HP/B, I easily hit the wall.
Yet with my Corolla @ 780 HP/D, it is not so much of a problem.
Geo, could this perhaps be a trait of the Z34 in-general? (godlike in straights; but a pain in the ass for turns and corners)
P.S. I guess cars like the Z34 are prone to heavy understeer (in DX at least)???

QUOTE (Paladinoras @ Yesterday, 3:39 AM) | That's nice... but try.. HAKONE.
If you can beat them there... Hats off to you, sir. |
I think it's sad that I outmaneuvered an F-FREAKING-D on Hakone. Not blocked, not rammed, just outdrove.
And then I schooled the two biggest bandwagon cars (RX8, E9) on Hakone again today. Again, not rammed, simply outdriven.
Gotta love S/SS dupes. :3
Granted, those last two weren't that bad. I was just better.
But the FD was god-awful. How can you lose by over 600m on Hakone in an FD? -_-;

Yeah, he was the type that challenged for one game, then ran like hell once he gets whupped. >D S level dupe, go figure. It was even better that he seemed to be bragging to his buddies the whole time too. :3
I seem to have overcome my fear of Hakone as well. I've been picking it quite a bit lately with generally favorable results, and the R33 has delivered. I'm learning how fun the "moving wall" is on narrow mountain roads. Wacky ramming hi-jinks always ensue. :D
It's funny how lots of people presume I'm a noob because I have a "lower tier" *snicker* car, but I'm actually starting to see more car diversity here in KT too, which is kind of nice. There's a pair of low-level players I've seen hanging around, but I give them props for using a Supra and a Z32 (!!!). There's also a dedicated Chaser player around, who's not bad. There's even a budding R33 player who's been tuning up his car. Good to see people go beyond Evos and R32s. ^^

I tell you, the r33 is great on hakone, you just have to block and cut corners off...
