My mom is a traditionalist whistling.gif

Maybe I should start saving for the S15, pretty rare in my area and I heard it handles really good. Possible contender against the RX-8 when it comes to TA.

Yeah well it's tradition for scrubs to use renames. Anyone kid racing without a rename is not following tradition mate.

RX-8>MR2>S15

The MR2 is more balanced than the silvia and it holds its speed up almost as well as the rx-8. But it has laggy accel. Fix that by using Wingless and all stock.

She is just pretty cautious, because she thinks other people may give me offers after buying just ONE CHEAP rename.

To the topic though: S15 or RX-8? (As I said earlier, S15 is a good contender against SE3P) But which seems to be better?

EDIT: nvm, answered even before I asked. laugh.gif

So I'll FT my GDB-C instead, huh? All the way from 360 HP sweatingbullets.gif

And I can't really get a rename now, because my mom says so sleep.gif

So she prefers you spending 100's of whatever currency you use, and have you sit there for hours, instead of buying a rename.

Well from my experience in both cars...

The rx-8 and silvia are pretty much the same in speed and size but the rx-8 can hold higher speeds during turns and it is more balanced. The silvia is a little tail happy and it cant hold it's line and speed very well. The silvia is still a good car but dont expect to be able to do anything GODLIKE with it.

Screw what your mum say's mate. Just show her the math and how much money you will save. Then introduce her to your seller so she feels comfortable with the trade.

Im basing my calculations on Aussie Dollars..

Rename = $15

Fully tuning and dressing up from stock = $600 - $800

That is assming that each game is $2.

See immanoob...you started off alright here then you turned into me and slowly started getting on everyone's nerves.

Just get a rename. Or make friends with someone at the arcade and let your mum meet that friend and then when your mum asks about the rename just say your friend gave it to you as a gift.

Gosh, it's such a simple thing but you're making it so complicated.

You'd rather spend atleast 50 hours trying to FT and FD a card, rather than spend 5 minutes talking to your mum?

f**k it, have it your way then mate.

Cool story bro.

I suggest that IF you want to have any chance at getting better at the game.....just TA in an FT car for a very long time instead of making new cars. Specialising in one car type is better than having a shitload of cars but not knowing how to use them.

Okay, I'll TA in my fat-assed R34.

Well, since this is the Nissan thread, and nobody responded in the GT-R lounge, how's my setup?

Stock aero
Stock wing
Enkei JS+M
FRP ducted bonnet
Stock Mirrors

Good. The r34 is big so it will teach you to stop scratching your paint.

That set up is okay, but try something more grippy. The R34 loves to slide and that makes it hard to TA with.

I've been thinking of either of the two for your suggestion:

3D wing, and it may also make my car a battle brick.

Another set of rims, please tell me what are them.

Depends what oyu like. Try stock or 57A's. Because i am a slide addict i am using...

Stock Aero
2D Wing
Carbon Hood
3 spokes

I met this guy and he's really good at MT but he drives a grippy evo. He used my R34 and was crashing everywhere due to the oversteer.

TCII's
Carbon ducted bonnet
Aero Mirrors

And the Nismo stickers. Z-tune, anyone?
