I'll tell you right now that it's just crap. People who only use cars that are "under-rated" or generally not used because they're crap are the hipsters of the video game world. They try to be different by using something that is absolute shit and attempt to disprove the idea that they are.

^ True but only some proved their claim with some cars and deserve the proving rights... But seeing as there are more 180 players in MT4 Videos... did it get like, what? A buff/stat increase or something? That cars practically dead in 3DX+;

The only awesome 180 I saw in the vids was a West No. 5 Corvette remake using the 180SX's aero B (where it had the taillight masking) and recreated a 'vette C4 out of a 180.

Any player can be good with any car but analytically cars like the 180SX are trash to use.

and... wait, how was the 180 an analytical car again? I know it was just a filler so Tomoya could use a car-swap for his Integra that is on the same car class but...

It didn't, it was just a car featured in the manga.

In the original Manga, Tomoya uses an Integra DC2. But NAMCO doesn't have the licenses for Hondas in Maxi so they swapped it with the 180SX; much like the ZERO FOR THE ROADS ARC:

Yuji Kishida originally uses an AP1 S2000 on stage 90 but due to licensing... he uses the MX5 instead.

Both horrendous. To measure handling, you need speed. Unfortunately you'll never get up to a decent speed to make use of any handling this car has to offer. Which is none anyway.

Well are there any maps I could play to compensate for it's horrible-ness?

also i had a 180sx got it cuz i wanted to be different & to be honest i went back to my cosmo cuz most importantly i like heavy cars or at least with a bit of weight on them & i also like some unique factors on a car

the 180 is a pretty good car but 1. it was a bit light for me & 2. it didn't give me the unique factor for me unlike the r2 or hiace

DU doesn't help the car at all, hakone is great map for the car other then that cars light & does really pick speed unless u play like me

i rely a lot on boost & i also like to go between traffic just to pick up speed
