QUOTE (RayoK @ Mar 12 2013, 10:32 AM) | you tired of living is it? Should have suspect it moment you talk bout something so far off... The result is same with the r33 though it might do better in tokyo. Whats left is which is better suited for user and better suited in vsing wise. Not bad though for a summary of how car performs in course. No doubt for me the weight in the r33 would edge out, but im betting on the rr. But then again the ctr weight is not that light too... |
I'm left with my R32 and your MR2. I thought you have a R32 too? That MT2 stage 19 one isn't it? Or did you actually went to play it That R33 was not transfered at all, so if you want it you have to make a new one because no one wanted to main it, being labelled and live in 'BearZ' shadow. I thought you made one and ditch it in favour of GTO because of that reason?? lol Too bad GTO doesn't have that 2Fast2Furious kit, at least it adds more colour to that already dull aerokit lineup *COUGHAeroB,C,D,StockCOUGH* Even Aero A is on that borderline of uglyness and Aero E is about the ONLY ok one. Of course, if anybody were to choose it would be R33 over GTO anyday, period.

ahh yes gto aero is pretty ugly actually... Aero a is kinda like stock r34 aero, which might be why im still using it... I already ft that r32 but dont want to use it already... Didnt know you still actually play loooool, same old settings? I ditch the 33 in favour of gto is cause of rarity, gear 6 and how i like using it even more than my fd.

QUOTE (RayoK @ 5 minutes, 26 seconds ago) | S15 got quite a good pickup but weak gear6 just like evo8 or some say slightly weaker. Quite solid in taking hits and ramming but compared to evo8 i say better in taking hits but ramming off people is significantly weaker. That fr will not help you in conering so dont count on it.
Otherwise its just a fr nissian evo8 when compared.
And if you think dressup affects somethings, i used aero c, enkei forge rims and all else stock just like in mt2 s15. |
Thanks for the feedback. I haven't tried the S15 in a serious ramfest yet (the ramfest variety found over here in my area) but it's very comforting to know that it can take hits and ram.
As for its weakest gear, from my short exposure to it, it's the 4th gear that's weak not the 6th... anyway, that's just me... I'll look into that too...

Moving from fd to s15 should be ok, though both are very different but they relate each other well and easy unlike fd to 33.
Now this is imo unlike what i posted just now... Good side of s15, good pickup comparable to evo8 takes hit and takes ram better than evo8 making it better 'tank' abit smaller sized than most mainstream cars so sneaking around is more manageable
bad side, weak high gears, 5 and 6 almost felt no difference in power other than higher speed gain good tank but ramming and pushing power is medicore and thats even not comparing to evo8 good sneaking size but thats make up for that slide slide that it has which when put together some claim made no hell of a difference(lol teddybear b!tch)
Overall, fd to s15, you will not regret it, thats if if you enjoy it.

Once a while I'll just play abit though in reality it's really a miracle I even think of stepping into the arcade again. Yesssss, same old good carbon body and claw rims I thought you didn't use it because of those pissing off remarks like "you think you BearZ??" What does that S15 got to do with me? Did I complain on it? Like seriously I just find that if I got to adjust so much to fit in the S15, I might as well don't even bother and use what I've always used... I thought you were going for the S15 than the GTO? Abit confusing now... Your project is seriously ridiculous that if you lump everything together into one car you could have a totally LEGIT SSS 400,000KM mileage with 10K stars... But then again it is just math calculated theory that's all

I'm actually enjoying the challenge of using the S15..
I also got the opportunity to test it yesterday for a couple of rounds against some of the local MT gods in my area... needless to say, I got my backside handed to me for rather obvious reasons...
Anyway, the points that you've mentioned regarding the S15 is very much true. I also took another look at the gear powers and yes, the weakest is the 6th... Other than that, I've got no complaints about it.
By the way, would you happen to know the shift points for the S15? I currently shift when the pointer reaches 8 in the tachometer...

QUOTE (vash944 @ 1 hour, 28 minutes ago) | so in my understanding the S15 is good for technical courses but somewhat not so good in straight drag area or yet acceleration power of this is not that great
@RB33 then again if i meet you again lemme try your s15 to a TA on NBL CW and hopefully goes to 4'31' or 4'32' mark on a single try (as I called it suicide rush on a not so adapted car) =P |
I might drop by TZ G4 again later after work. PM you my mobile number.
@Gunma I wouldn't call the FD "buffed as f***" as you put it. It just so happened that the FD is one of the top contenders now that sometimes, the thrill or the fun of using it is no longer there.

i shift at 7 just like how i shift for evo8 too since they are quite similar here. S15 ramming pushing power is seriously weak, but balanced by its 'tank'. If you enjoy it, then go for it. I enjoyed my gto despite its freaking ugly aeros and suddenly found myself wishing i had main it long ago lol...

not that good for technical ones and how evo8 performs in terms of speed treat s15 same way. It loses out cause of its slide slide nature losing more speed than evo8 and thats when the e8 leaves it in the dust.

Will do. I don't mind the weak pushing power since my playstyle is more into defensive ramming. Thanks for the tips and help

QUOTE (Sailor Enlil @ 8 hours, 13 minutes ago) | New car added to my fleet: Nissan 180SX
Initially it was added kinda for gags - it's named "LukaH" after the vocaloid Luka Megurine and I intended to style/theme it after her (pink/black/yellow color scheme). After playing with it a few times though, I somehow ended up really, REALLY, liking the car . Not because of its battling prowess or speed or handling (in fact I'd say it's rather average on all of them), but because, well, I like how it feels - it's just nice to drive. In fact I would just spend all day driving it just for the sake of driving it, rather than say to win VS battles or set TA records. That and I also like its Aero E.
Any thoughts? Or does anyone have a similar opinion to other cars? |
Actually, the 180SX pretty much is a good car to drive. Mine is still around 420HP/B, but I'm starting to like it even after 6 races.
And yes, I do have that similar opinion of how it feels while driving a specific car.. I kind of liked the S15 because of that too. And probably other cars as well.
I'm just going to have to get Aero B or Aero E for my 180SX. Aero A doesn't cut it for me.

The 180 back in MT3dx+ felt like a S15, just slower accel and less slidey
Could have changed though...
I do like it lol.... its a different car that noone races
