GC8 is a top-tier car? pinch2.gif

I guess im gunna have to just get better to realise the potential of the car lol

I used to have the Super-advanced yokohama wheels, i liked the look of them, but they're a ricer wheel according to the wheels guide lol blink.gif

I think its either the if its the later of the Enkei or the Yokohama that iv obtained at being dress up lvl 34 or watevers lol...Gotta change my Aero kit to stock or A...Only 12 or so levels to go! Oh yeah Purple colors FTW! laugh.gif

I saw a GDB-F drive the other day, i must say that its very very solid in its handling, in that it does wat the driver wants and its responce in turns is awesome..and the acell is great, maybe due to its 6-gears

Havnt reached that level of greatness yet, still noob though lol... crying2.gif

MY DREAM IS TO BE HOKAGE!... fear2.gif ...but since i cant do that, a '35 in hakone both ways and a '00 in Osaka are my goals!

Update on the GC8's Acell, with the right aero kit and wheels, its acell could rival the evo and GDB-F/C...maybe be a fraction slower, but when ur racing, its upto other variables to decide whos faster right? grin2.gif

Back to the topic
I was intersted to make a GDB-F since i saw

SWRT could fit that GDB-F or my team's name

well my primary car is R- 34, followed by celsior
MS6 is just my future project....
i don't get why u're exagerrated w/ MS6 users???

that is because it is a very new car and it is just an awkward car. Cos it is like a normal car you see on the streets that you dont tend to think should be modified. But I think that is all wrong... any car can be modified and I think will look good.

Good luck with your MS6 project.... I think you will have fun with it. PM Roxas3 if you want more info on it.

@ Xeoreg

I never thought anyone considered the GC8 Impreza as a top tier. Most people around me always assumed it to be 2nd tier. But I dunno, its probably my best car right now; does decently enough on all the courses for me. Still trying to break out of that "out of practice" funk.

For anyone who is thinking about making a GC8, just do it. At least you'll know how it'll drive, at least to your standards for the most part.

BTW if anyone's wondering, my currrent setup is

WR Blue
Volk TE37
Stock Aero
CF Hood

And I did put my neon tubes back on since I kinda got bored having them off. They really don't do much except distract the person behind you... XD

Wait till you drive an Evo or Skyline, particularly he R32.
Then you'll feel the R2 actually handles like a RWD...

I have AC101's GC8, I've tried the GC8 and I know how powerful it is XD

My copy of AC101's GC8 is setup something like this...
Aero B
stock hood
rays 57F wheels
wing by bodykit
green neons
sti decals

It looks hideous with the headlights, but it's really fast and easy to drive laugh.gif

By STi stickers you mean the WRC Sticker set at the end right? I personally haven't lost faith in mine yet, just sometimes when I haven't been playing for a while, I kinda forget what i'm supposed to do. Though I've been told that my setup slides out a lot, which seems to suit just fine for the technical turns of Hakone.

BTW, GC8 has a slower acceleration compared to GDB-C/F(And Evo 8 & 9) but has a stronger 3rd and 4th gear. Its something that becomes more apparant when its full tuned.

From what the FAQ and other threads suggest, Stock or Aero C I guess but for the GC8, Aero C looks like some weird SpoCom monstrosity that someone made while they were drunk. I used it for a while but I dunno...

Ok Ok..... Hold On There!!!

You are really confusing me. Did you mix the 2 cars around? Cos Kenji said that the R2 is slippery and shit and the R32 and evos are grippy. But you said the r32 is slippery and shit and the R2 is grippy.

You sure you said the right thing. Cos I know R2s are slippery as my best friend has a 740HP one and he slips and slides through Osaka in Battle Mode all the time, but with his R32, he stays in the corner and corners perfectly..... So now I am..... blink.gif

i think the complete opposite lol >> sorry if i sound like a retard lol! but in my opinion the R2 is by far much more grippier grin2.gif i think its the way i drive. but MR2, R2, Z31, and the S15 are the grippiest. i am so weird >_<

i want an R2. my friend has one, i just love that huge Original Car Wing on the R2. just like a midget STi

GC8 question...
Does the GC8 have better top speed than the 350z? (Z33?)

I was bet the top player in Wangan line and i constantly kept catching upto the ghost every time i lost speed and put it back up?

UPDATE on the GC8
AWESOME car...just needs a new aero kit...and to put back the RCII, i just put the Enkei RC-TCII but i dnt like how they look...

Just need to get better at NBL...and then im Fastest in Metro Highway!

The GC8 has a lower top speed than the Z33 Fairlady. That Z is best on straights, like Wangan. The reason why it caught up with you was because Ghost battles always has boost on for the computer.

yer Ive seen that the car crashed right. I gained a 300m advantage but once it went straight again. It caught up like in no time, perfect corners and everything. I couldn believe it.

LOL...

Are you pulling a prank or something?
RWD R32 ??????????

and regarding that R2 slides/grip thing... it's personal opinion. The R2 is my first car and I've driven it for about a month and I've put in a total of 4,000km+ in a month alone. Then I switched to R32 and I'm overhelmed by the amount of grip it has..

[Not going to comment further regarding the Rs since this is a Subaru thread]

yer the r32 does hav alot of grip and I think it is better than the r2. But i havnt driven an r2 and i see my friend drive his and it slips and slides every corner it does and the smallest bump decreases its speed so much.

its an unfair boost..... a GDB-C totally pwned my top MR2 ghost on osaka.... for some stupid reason he crashed quite a few times, but on the straights he caught up, even though my MR2 had a perfect run....
