Xeo's right, Hakone doesn't have long enough straights to even sit at 5th or 6th gear so usually the higher speed sections you can hold at 4th.

if i make GDB, which is better for overall, GDB-C or GDB-F

Its mainly personal preference though people will say otherwise. GDB-C is supposedly for handling and GDB-F is more for speed. Regardless, they're both fast.

GDBC has a more powerful 5th gear than the GDBF.
GDBF has a more powerful 6th gear than the GDBC, but both cars are generally weak in top gear.

Both cars will slide, but GDBF will regain grip faster than the GDBC.

Both cars are very good and are capable of setting WR. Go try both on official machine and decide which one you like better.

Im looking at:
57F wheels
Aero A or stock
Straight Wing
Aero mirrors
Carbon Hood

And should i start using 780 or stay 760?

And for each of the courses, prob use the same for TA and battle

760. 780 is too much imo for osaka.

imho, aero b is the best kit for subarus...
aero b + 57f + wing by kit + aero mirror + cf hood

But Aero B looks so ugly....

u wont even be able to look at the car if ur using 1st person...
even if u use 3rd person, u can only see the top back of the car, so why would the appearance of the body kit be even a matter in this? O_O

Well yeah, iv gotten used to the Aero-C on my GC8

And iv gotten the works sticker installed, so it might be a good change - although iv forgotten what it looks like when it has a stock kit on lol

Rear bumper on B looks good, but A looks the best overall lol

Id pick B - except the front just looks too much, if it had the GDB style rally lights i would for sure

gc8's aero B looks better than gdb's aero B

did 49'3 with 740 on osaka in the summer...LOVED it..=D

I thought 760 was ample enough for Osaka...

740 is all about lines...
and gdbf + aero B = grip and fast accel <3

FT my dressup levels...Changed my Aero kit to A

It slides a considerble amount more than C, and it feels weird since iv driven C for so long, but acell is remarkbly better

Might try B later on, about 500kms down the track I wanna see what A can do in both battles and TA's

I'd have to agree, I'm used to my car driving a certain way so which is one reason why I dropped Aero C off of my GC8, and cuz it was ugly looking >.> I would have picked A ero A but it looked too Sport Compact like, but hey, hopefully it works out for you.

I put on the aero A on 2 days ago...

LOVE IT...it slides a bit more than C - but i prefer it like that..

Its Top Speed has dropped in comparison to C just a tiny bit though...

Acell is GODLY lol

Should i use the Aero Kit A wing, or the GT straight wing?

Iv used both and have no difference in feeling, except the GT may have increased acell, but im not sure at all...

aero c is the tough set up for the gc8..

aero b, 3d gt-wing, cyclone.. and there you have it.. the toughest setting for the gc8 in battles

my currect setup for gc8 is....
aero A, vented hood, aero mirrors, 5f7, 3d wing...
