if they try to overtake you, and you block, obviously they're pushing you "withstanding hits/ram", and by blocking you're pushing back hence "halting their overtake"

pushing a car and blocking a car is exactly the same thing.

they're both pushing at each other just different directing. just that offensively its called pushing, and defensive is called blocking.

How many Subaru R2 players do we have here? I'm interested to know because of two reasons:
1. I know that it's been talked about quite a bit here on the forum
2. I bought one for the purposes of being a traffic weaver (the complete opposite to my GT-R SpecV I got when playing Maxi3DX+ seriously for the first time) and itself becoming a traffic decal vehicle just to confuse opponents while we race! It's genius!

R2 is a fun car, almost never used seriously.

any yellow car can be used to confuse your opponent.

but if you're planning to race people then prepare to get rammed left and right.

This is kinda why I'm using the R2 - using its small size for evasive manuvers...though it does come at a risk.

i like how the r2 looks but i think unless you have a heavy dress up. that car flies like a paper. but im glad the r2 is capable there is a video in wmmt4 thread somewhere. that r2 manage to sneak in 1st place lol.

btw i can't wait to start tuning my GRB 2morrow. it should take me a whole week lol. i don't play much even on my vacation. to many errands. dammit. but it will be ready by sunday.

Wow, it seems that in WMMT4, the R2 has been greatly buffed....

that or just they finally got rid of the "weight" issue with cars and made them all the same.

cause in the beginning blocking an evo like that quite a feat.

and the hiace couldn't handle the pressure, he pushed too aggressively and ram straight into the wall.

Anyone can give me a good settings for durability in battles for the GRB?

i used both setup n pretty like it..
now i'm using aero A for GRB.. but still don't find suitable rims

R2 user here, bought it for the same reason as you, to pretend as a traffic car.


I used all stock except x401 for quite a long time, then now it becomes aero C, aero mirrors, wing by car type, and 57A.

Before: quite nice, a bit heavier than now, but turn in is a bit sluggish, and acceleration is appalling. You lose a car length once you shift to 3rd gear in e.g. a Fukuoka crown race with a E8. However, it looks very similar to traffic cars, so I didnt touch that setup for quite a long time. Managed to take Fukuoka crowns, but its hard.

Now: Well 57A mended the acceleration a bit, and so does the aero mirrors. Now i lose at most 1-2 meters after starting, and it doesnt fall back further. I definitely recommend aero C, it makes the car so much lighter and agile, turning in is much more responsive. downside is you lose the traffic car appearance. Wing by car type would help in top speed and a bit of handling. Its easier to take Fukuoka crowns now....but its no evo/skyline.


The R2, like the other Subarus, are quite slidy. You kind of adapt the driving style to it, so it takes some time. As for battles, well I suck with battles anyways, and R2 is certainly not a battle car. Wait for chances and sneak up from behind....

Is there any ta settings for spec f ?

Honestly speaking, GDBF isn't kinda built for TA-ing though but here's my settings.

try spec C if u prefer TA

It seems that spec f ain't for ta , but you're wrong , it does , it's possible if you can handle the car well , manage to get 28'0xx on a spec f on fukuoka .. Mine is

cause spec F is has better speed and accel.

its kinda like saying 350Z isn't a TA car, yet it performs well in wangan TA.

Then why even bother asking; if you have good settings = =;
