Thinking about making a WRX GC8

Would anyone please tell me the pros and cons of this car?

Thanks smile.gif

i haven't messed with the settings much but with mine like it is (stock aero, stock wing, frp hood, enkei rct4) its not particularly fast, the handling is good though. its not very heavy either (again aero will prob change this), i guess it might be similar to a evo 6?

Note: if you were using stock aero before, you will notice a quite significant change from stock to aero C. It slides the same, but the car seems lighter (more agile) and accelerate a bit faster. Same thing with aero mirrors, it accelerate the car quite a bit, so watch the lines.

its nice to see another R2 user

same here.. i'll try to play this weekend and take a screenshot of my R2 smile.gif

my car from long long time ago, settings have since changed. It is Aero C with C wing, stock mirrors, stock bonnet and 57A. I have always been taking down the local Fukuoka Ghost (usually a E9 or a GDBF) using my R2.

I started my MT life on DX+, so ironically it is my most familiar track......also, my R2 is actually an rename, but I spent time and money to full tune and full dress it up XD

I love the fact that the R2 is not a good battle car, and everybody knows that. When you slip past people and win them by taking a nice line, you get a greater sense of satisfaction haha. The same with Hiace, Corolla and other non-bandwagon cars like the Atenza MPS (DSE), Cosmo or Aristo etc

Oh i see. My R2 was fully tuned and dress up in MT3 before transferring to DX and then to DX+.

Yes R2 is not recommended for VS battles, but it feels great when you win races. smile.gif

MT4 is quite different, they made most cars more equal (of course some cars are more equal than others), and they sort of tweaked the collision/blocking physics a bit , so the R2 and Hiace is not that far off in terms of battle power in MT4.

But in MT3/DX/DX+, R2 is generally weaker than Hiace in battles. Handling wise, the R2 is like a super light, microscopic GC8 with blunt acceleration and top speed. Hiace is......well a Van.
