KPGC10 or nicknamed "Hakosuka" by car and GT-R fanatics, comparing it to FD3S is probably outclassed by boost and TA worthiness

KPGC10 is a fun car, battle-wise tho... I can't seem to point more on the car itself

Would love to run a R34 Ghost on Hakone - trying to use mine on there is a killer sad.gif

Anyone got some useful tips? I'm okay with my throttle control but the slightly later turn in from understeer really kills me through S curves.

Same as with what i said about the r33 except its a easier ride than 33

Based on what you say cornering is an issue
Personally i would recommend to start with 700hp then slowly move up 720, 740 and then finally 760
The gradual increase in hp makes cornering points easier to understand

I have seen alot of people blindly attacks a corner and just because exit speed is fast they think its fast but can never understand why they are way off the WR, while that might work for course like osaka and nagoya however hakone is totally a different thing

In my BCNR33's case of crown breaking took the longest was hakone I'm quite used to old staple maps except yaesu and minato mirai

They will see the light when one R35 specV user will finally land on baguio and breaks their wangan records in each of the cabinets shifty2.gif

WOW!!! Is it really THAT kind of a monster? Well, the crowns set by the LanEvo from team MR-S here are just down to 3 (hakone, yaesu and minato mirai crowns remain). Really thankful to the guy who did that coz we somehow had a taste of how Manila players run the different courses (at least their Ghost). Personally, it kinda improved my driving technique. And when the time comes an R35 set crowns here, I'm sure a lot of local guys will try to take it back. Lol w00t2.gif

I don't touch my R's ghost mode anymore as I've already completed Japan Challenge Loop 5 on both.

Here's my R32.

@CarlRaven: Bro! Had a chance to run with your R32's ghost a while ago. Used my last 3 game credits to race in 3 diff. maps with RIN. Didn't really have a clean run but it was DEFINITELY a lot of fun! And the spectators' eyes popped out when they saw your "SSS" car before the start of the race--- in all it's glowing "ki"/"aura" glory. Your R32 had a lot of love from the guys here. Thanks, mate! Cheers! wink2.gif

Do I have the feeling that red evo from MR-S is Xomy, anyways the R35 specV player I mentioned holds top records in Wangan TA at PHL area and who knows he might pop in baguio one day

R35's strength is at Wangan also evident on world TA records but it's better than R34 in top speed and boost with slightly bigger size

I'll repay the favour later tonight...... Don't challenge my ghosts anymore cause I won't be playing with cars that have completed JC Loop 5.

Anyway, my ghost really did put up a fight?

suprisingly stock aero R32 with Nismo duct and TE37 handles really well in hakone (at least for me)

It surely did! The guys watching were surely entertained. Especially when the difference was just <5m towards the end. It was really a lot of fun! happy.gif

Hello, I am using R34 (C3) and OCM Osaka will be held in my country, so could some of you teach me about this course, technique, or anything? lol

Thanks...

Best bet is to watch an Osaka TA video to give you an idea of what lines you should take, although in the OCM pretty sure you got traffic so keep that in mind.

Not much else to say about the R34, just know when to put in the correct inputs and watch out for it's gnarly understeer.

Why not try challenging online ghosts on that particular course for practice? It can somehow show you the racing lines they use and give you an idea where they usually shift up/down or go flat-out... plus you'll have practice on how to go about the traffic.

As for my GT-R (R33), a 760hp setting on Osaka is usually a more balanced setting. Makes it easier to power out of a tight corner without turning like a boat. But still, it all depends on your driving style. G'luck! wink2.gif

Tried to rule this one out myself by doing a run with and without any aero kit. No effect or whatsoever. But c'mon... Wouldn't it look nicer if you race while sporting a hella sick bodykit and kick-ass rims?! grin2.gif

I find that certain dressup combination that i changed for fun makes my car get rammed very easily compared to what i always use and the ramming is done by the same person so yes for me dressup does shit but 100% of times is on battles

If its ta and ghost pretty much doesnt matter anyway since ramming doesnt exist for the former and to a certain extend for the latter

If I also count renames in my GT-R collection tho at a total of 7

KPGC10:
BNR32
BCNR33: (Currently using)
BNR34 Vspec II (rename on WME forum card, but still 815)
BNR34 Vspec II Nür
R35 Spec V (former main)
R35

Actually i was kinda thinking before when they announced the end of updates in 2013, tried getting all the cars i need from WMMT3 and also collected all of the GT-R's present lineup till WMMT3DX+ almost all of them are FT'd except the rename BNR34 on my WMEforum card

my reason to that at least when the need arises I can get it ready rolleyes.gif

so far I'm still leaning on BCNR33 on the GT-R side, that I'm kinda used to 5 gear transmission
