Ricer wheel is just additional info from the author. The original website doesn't say that, I've ran the page through a translator before.

Basically almost all the wheels labelled "Ricer wheel" are wheels that are heavy and very slow accelerating. However, they pay off during battle, it makes you harder to ram because you're heavier.

QUOTE (Frost @ Dec 3 2007, 12:16 AM)
just what like the translation said..Yokohama RCII rim

my evo 9 equip with this..and im pretty happy with it

as for Aero A or C..just switch back to A after a long usage with C..but i cannot give you any feedback yet..but my early prediction Aero C is better dan Aero A

but maybe Aero B IS better than the other 2 laugh.gif

but i never use it becoz of those 4 big headlight!

So among all 3 Aero sets. Which is the best? in terms for a Lancer Evo 9 for Osaka Line?

@furanz - the TCII. It even says that in the guide. laugh.gif and I have tested it out. So yer.

Ok I also have a problem. I need wheels for my s30z for Osaka, battling.

I currently hav on my s30z:

aero kit A
GT wing
carbon ducted
aero mirrors
enkei rc-t4.

I think the rc-t4 is slowing me down. Cos it is a very heavy tire but I love it cos I own on hakone. But I need a car fit for BOTH osaka and hakone.

So any recommendations of tires that I can use for osaka or osaka and hakone?

Osaka requires grip.
Hakone requires slide.

Try the Super Advan Racing 3spokes.

I think I have. I tried out all the enkei and yokohama tires. But that was when I had really low HP. Is it really different to now?

you'll never get to know the feeling of the rims/kits/wings unless you're running on a full tune car

I personally didn't think that wheels had any impact in the game. It just seems wholly mismatched with the game's image. They are labeled as dress up parts for that reason, no?

It's up to you. No use in arguing with people who don't want to believe. Please no more stupid debate on these dress-up parts, if you see the thread has something about or related to dress-up affecting car performance AND YOU DON'T BELIEVE THAT IT DOES NOT CONTRIBUTE ANYTHING please don't post.

yesh calm down Calx Zinra. You had a bad day or something.

Anyways...
@furanz - I think the best wheel for the r32 is actually the rays 57F rims. But between those two, I would have to pick the T5, as they are fairly same weight as the TCII but they got lighter turning, more drifter. But if you like cornering, by all means go for the TCII. I just like abit drifter cars, eg. my s30z is actually pretty drifty even though I have enkei tires. (Best grip tires, I reckon.) But at the same time, they got enough grip to do all the turns in Hakone easily. laugh.gif

Coming from a guy who heel-toes and blips throttle like a real man.

Just how does having aftermarket wheels mismatch the games image exactly..?
Have you even seen *pictures* of the enormous tuner scenes in Japan around the Bay area at night time? NOBODY runs stock wheels or cosmetics there.
So wouldn't aftermarket wheels fit PERFECTLY with this game? Seeing that its a game about tuners, highways, and most importantly its set in an area where tuners test out their cars after days, weeks, even months of tuning. So... your argument fails, just like the last one.
