not for different courses but more like for your car, but its always just an opinion whether they actually affect your car or not..

BOB ? This is the guy at Playdium with the MVP card.. LOL

Hahaha I finally recall who you are ~

@ virus:

Wheels might be better on one course than another. I would however recommend you to find a set of wheels that you're comfortable with, and stick with it for all the cars you're using...so you know how your car will handle rather than having the need to adapt from car to car...

yes, not used to card swipes...all the arcades in toronto are dollars, tokens or quarters...

Shotgun for GDBF should be ok, but accel might give you some trouble.

Try out the RCII's first though, I love using them ~

YOKOHAMA

SuperADVAN RacingVer.2
the "three clawed" wheel, famous for the R32 back in MT2 is now pitifully a RICER wheel

....I've read on some vids, that jap/hk likes that wheel and use them for TA and do really well.... it was in chinese char. "3claw wheel"

Whats a good rim for the S30, I used

NT03 + M - seems to have good excel but slides a bit
TARMAC WRC EVO LIMTED EDITION FORGED - pretty fast but a tiny bit drifty (testing)
JS + M - Drift like crazy
EIGHT SPOKE - slides around.... and a lil too slow
AVS MODEL T5 -read T6
AVS MODEL T6 - forgot which one I like and not like, but it was a 6 spoke rim, and it was great accel, and handles pretty well, favorite wheel so far besides the evo rim

basically whatever suits your needs. there is no real practical BEST rim for the cars. sometimes they can balance, but choose what you think is best.

though.. i do recommend SRS-approved Texan Shotgun tongue.gif

TARMAC WRC EVO LIMTED EDITION FORGED
best match for the Lan Evos

Guys, what's the official name of this Set of RIMS? I'm looking at another thread of Dress up parts Level by level and I don't see this exact wording on the list.

This is the second RIMS in the ENKEI section so if I'll look at my Completed Level Dress-up parts options in the ENKEI section, this set of wheels is the second one in the selection?

maybe its the car but i i find the RGII is pretty good in accel (on my R34) and it feels good.

Super Advan 3 Spoke is my next favourite rim (on my EvoIX and FD) it feels like i have complete control over the car (again it could be just the car)

Would like some player-based info on the Rays X401 - I'm honestly having a moderately difficult time interpreting the sheet Namco put up. Half the translation is a little ass-backward and semi-vague to me, particularly on the properties of each wheel. And I'm not exactly relying on the info at the beginning of this thread since it's a skimmed down version of the Namco page - unless it says "exclusively recommended for [x] cars", in which case I'll try them out.

Reason I'm asking is because I installed it on my Evo9, and am searching for a replacement. If suggesting replacements, please suggest something other than the Evo Forged - I think I overuse them and wanna try something else; they also give me some overslide.

*If anyone says "put it in the Mitsubishi thread", know that I'm trying to kill two birds with one stone - besides, it's pretty much one topic (Mitsubishi excluded).

from my experience...

x401 accelerates like a tank
it is unpushable, very resistant to being rammed
grips well, but handles weird...as with all rays rims...
decent top speed
